The internet feeds will cost £7 per month if you sign up during the first week. The housemates enter the house today and the feeds begin on Wednesday 10 July wihch is when the first show is on.

If anyone is beginning to find our one boring now then £7 is definately worth it to sample theres. Trust me, being tipped off on there BB is like being given a tip to check out '24' if you weren't up on that from the start.

I posted more info is this thread here which includes pics of the houseguests and the house here

If you pay for the UK streams, do you get those ones too?

It all depends on whether the US feeds will constitute part of Realplayer Superpass. Other premium US feeds (CNN, NBA etc..) do, and it *is* possible that US-BB will too... we'll have to wait and see. But if the US BB feeds will be the only thing you use it for, you're better off paying the 7 than 10 per month..

Would Sky be allowed to do a deal for the US version though?

ew.com...

While not much has changed from last summer (Julie Chen remains as host, and it's likely the streaming online video will return for at least $9.95 a month), Shapiro says this group is far more savvy to the ways of ''Big Brother.'' ''Some have become students of the show, so they feel they can compete even [better than last year's crew],'' he explains. ''However, we made a few format and rule changes that will make them have to rethink their strategy.'' Ooh, we love a mystery!

It depends what the rights C4 have say... it is just a TV programme like everything else, but there may be a clause in C4/Endemol's contract that prevents showing other versions..

$500,000 in PRIZE MONEY!!! makes the uk version look positively amateurish!!!

as for seeing the USA BB3 - you might try finding someone in the US who has a capture card and is willing to post the highlights around...

& celebs are even more ridiculously worshipped over there. Recipe for a house full of wannabes that make our sorry lot look wide-eyed and innocent, methinks.

$500,000 is nice ($50,000 for 2nd too) but that is still only half of what they get compared to Survivor or The Amazing Race and BB over there is the hardest to do.

Im fairly optimsitc i'll be able to get the tv eps. I watched last years in tv quality and its really just a question of whether it will be mpeg or lower quality divx rips.

Btw, they get nowhere near the fame that hm over here get, trust me. Infact American BB fans would probably freak if they knew how mental the public over here gets over BB and how much attention it recieves from the press.

There housemates may get noticed in there local town after it is over but that is about it. They certainly wont get mobbed as soon as they set foot outside the house. Their focus is more on the prize money than any Tv deals or fame they will get from the outside world. I
