Signal
Hi Guys,
Got a quick question regarding Signals from base stations. If there were no Hills, Houses or anything to get in the way of the signal sent from a base station. How far do these go for 2.5 G and also 3 G if possible? Cheers! David |

It is my understanding that this will vary from base station to base station. Bepending on location. In a city centre they will use lots and losts of low power stations, were out in the country side, they will use fewer high power stations.

I am trying to find out why my phone on Vodafone does not work very well you see when I visit friends & family in an area near Kendal.
You have to go to the third floor in the house just to get one bar of signal. The nearest base station I can see is T-Mobile at 32dbw out of the max 32dbw. Others are around the 28/29 but are very close to the centre near Asda. |
