Emmerdale - Thursday 3rd November/05
Victoria makes Louise take her to her karate lesson, despite Martin going to be there.
The two are partnered up once again and it’s clear that the copper is still mad at Louise for being ‘irresponsible’. Louise’s reaction? She punches him! But fear not, it wasn’t deliberate (was it?), she simply hits him accidentally during a karate skill! Afterwards Martin realises that he’s been a pompous git and takes them all out for burgers – wah-hey! But Victoria and Kayleigh aren’t going to leave it there – they tell Louise and Martin that the other fancies them and makes the copper ask the barmaid out on a date! Ah kids, don’t you just love ‘em?! Meanwhile, Nicola arranges for Laurel to see a top wedding dress designer, but the poor cleaner’s heart is just not in it so soon after Seth’s death. Nicola, of course, fails to understand such sentiment! And finally, Lisa learns that Debbie’s been bunking school and tells the teenager that she must now stay at home and look after Sarah. Cue big sulk session… Writer: Tim Dynevor |

God I love Nicola
![]() "They're burying Seth" "Well I wish they'd bloody well get on with it" Freda, that was a surprise - she actually appeared 3 years ago. |

Louise punching Martin was obvious, but still hilarious. Love her and the 2 girls together...

Debbie made me cry tonight when she was talking about Sarah but it happened to me. Girl you will love her when she grows up. I love Ben (my 3 year old) like hell now and i know what you mean.
the reason why i love this storyline so much is because the storline is what happened to me( i had my baby on my own in my house though and my sister found me 5 minutes after i had him!!!) |

Okay, now surely that scene with Emily and Debbie is hinting at something, it was almost a bit sinister! About time Emily had something dramatic to do as well.
Loved Len/Pearl and the continuity with Freda being randomly brought back, like Louise's copper bloke. Very nice touches. Yet more suggestions about Danny being "the one" . I love all these possible storylines simmering away that you aren't quite sure about, like with Alice and her illness. Another great episode actually, everybody was good tonight. |

Do you get the feeling that what we are seeing, is the result of a major storyline meeting where new ideas begin?
We have Debbie and the baby, and Emily becoming quite attached (with the actress soon to leave on maternity0 Then there's Freda, Paul's love interest, Louise and the copper all just emerging... |

Why is it that when Debbie Dingle is on screen do I want to throw hard rocks at my flat screen...
Please change the actress portraying Victoria.. she should have been changed ages ago. Awful. |

On the subject if louise. Surely with her homocidal past she would terrified of having a detective boyfriend. What if she talks in her sleep.
