Well, it could be reasonably be argued that 2 and 3 weren't achievements of the highest magnitude But the rest were OK. OMT, who is/was John Stevenson (one of the writers maybe??)

1) Richard Hillman storyline

That was down to Jane MacNaught, Carolyn Reynolds and lots of other writers not just Roberts.

Return of Julie Goodyear as Bet Lynch

That is something best forgotton

Return of Corrie humour

There wasnt much humour under Roberts time on the show, some characters were also very underused such as Rita and Betty.

Might just disagree with you there...Roberts brought the show back from the pits of McNaught and re-introduced (with the help of Reynolds) comedy at a better level than it was.

Andrew Whyment (Kirk) won Best Comedy Performance at the BSA in 2003 (under Roberts' realm)

Todd's gay storyline springs to mind. Roberts (with the help of Daran Little) started that one but Tony Wood finished it off (rather brilliantly IMO)
