That was down to Jane MacNaught, Carolyn Reynolds and lots of other writers not just Roberts. Return of Julie Goodyear as Bet Lynch That is something best forgotton Return of Corrie humour There wasnt much humour under Roberts time on the show, some characters were also very underused such as Rita and Betty. |

Todd's gay storyline springs to mind. Roberts (with the help of Daran Little) started that one but Tony Wood finished it off (rather brilliantly IMO)
