According to a dear old friend of mine one idea discussed for an Eastenders storyline was to have dear old Johnny turn out to be the father of one of the Mitchell clan.

I gather now this isn't going to happen as several storyline ideas were discussed, but you never know.

Would this work or be a totally bad idea or would it depend on which Mitchell child was the son/daughter of Johnny.

The only thing I thought would of been a nice idea from this would be that Ruby would have a Mitchell family connection.

Sam would be an ideal candidate. You always get the impresson she's never really fitted in her own family.

Only Sam could be the offspring of Johnny. Phil and Grant look too alike to not be brothers.

Having bald heads does not make them alike. Grunt is tall, muscular, slightly tanned with distinctive eyes. Phug is short, overweight with a round red face.

and neither bear any resemblance whatsoever to Johnny or Ruby.

(But then they don't have to look like each other, I look nothing like any of my family)

It would of been fun to see if it had been Phil or Grant. Phil would get drunk, beat everyone up and go off the deep end.

Grant would go balistic, burn down Pat's, cry alot and end up in bed with Sharon.

I always thought that Mr Allan was going to be uncovered as Sharons' real daddy!

it's a shame that he's been killed off, but I always thought Johnny resembled Steve Owen. Maybe it's just me but there is some likeness between them.

Doesnt really make much sence ... I would think that somebody working for heat would have more chance of meeting and making friends with the cast of EE then most people because of parties they get invites to etc.
