It appears that Chrissie is about to get found out to be the one who murdered Den and Sam is, apparently, if the rumours are true, going to be released. More miracles from the Mitchell Boys.

Surely it doesn't make any difference to Sam whether Chrissie is found out ot not? It just backs up Sam's story which would mean that Chrissie, Sam and Zoe are all guilty and would be imprisoned. Chrissie would go down for murder, Zoe for attempted murder (or manslaughter) and Sam, at best, would go down for being an accessory to murder.

Have the EE writers been eating simple pills where more than one person cannot be found guilty and the original plot is conveniently forgotten? First we had Phil getting off because a security guard changed his mind but the evidence of countless police officers was forgotten about and the fact that he willingly participated in the robbery seems to have not been relevant and now we are going through it again - the fact that Sam willingly participated in the killing of Den. Ok, she didn't know he was going to be killed but she was involved and helped to dispose of the body.

More puzzlingly how come Zoe has not been contacted by the police?

Sam will be released once Chrissie is arrested.
However i think they will be looking to question Sam further when all the truth comes out...
Spoiler

Not to sure if either of them will mention Zoe.

Maybe Sam's released on bail when they realise she didn't actually kill Den and then she skips the Country.

As for the police not contacting Zoe... well no-one ever claimed the Walford plods were smart

I can understand zoe not being brought into it because michelle ryan is gone already. But Sam is in prison where she belongs! What are they letting her out for? Chrissie going to jail too shouldn't change that!

I wish kim medcalf wasnt leaving, I'd love Sam to stay on. I hope she gets the last laugh on chrissie.

Also rumours are rumours..nothings official about her exit...so no point slagging writers of yet.

But Sam hasn't been convicted, she's only on remand. When its proved that she didn't actually commit the murder and she is charged with lesser crimes then it is entirely possible that she will be released on bail pending the trial.

I know its possible but I dont think it's nessacary. Its hardly like Sam is the victim who's been wrongly sent to jail like Mathew Rose,Little Mo, Etc. I think she should stay in prison

Sam may be let out because her 3 months inside would be considered part of her sentence and because she was set-up she may be allowed out on on a suspended sentence.

Sam isnt guilty of killing den though, she is guilty of being an accessory, that is all. Chrissie was the one who killed den,so she should be the one facing a life sentence for the murder. I dont like people being wrongly convicted of something they didnt do.

It'll be interesting to see how they're going to get away with not bringing Zoe into it. If Chrissie describes her part the way it actually happened, the police are going to want to know how Den got the blows to the back of his head too. And Sam didn't do that!

I think (but I may be wrong) that Sam told the police everything, including Zoe whacking Den first.

The Walford plods' investigation into this claim came screeching to a halt when Kat told them that Zoe was uncontactable in Ibeefer.

Alas, yes, the Walford plods rarely look outside of Walford, let alone Ibeefer .

I can't remember what Sam told them initially, but I thought the other day she was trying to keep Zoe's name out of it. Didn't she tell Grant and Phil not to put pressure on Stacey for that reason? Or maybe I got that wrong.
If they do keep Zoe's name out of it, then it looks like a brutal murder for poor old Chrissie rather than self-defence.

If anyone mentions a Swiss cheese I will accuse them of plagiarism on your behalf.

zoe has been mentioned by sam, but the police didnt belive her

Sam listens to the evidence against her. She had the motive to kill Den and the opportunity. The police charge her with murder. She claims that Zoe can back up her story, but it just seems like another desperate lie.
from the ee website

Do you really only get three months for accessory to murder and concealing a crime? And surely if they let her out on bail, they would take her passport away? (That's assuming it's true that she gets out of jail). I do think Sam will 'get away with it' and leave the country, it's much more typical of an Easties conclusion.
