The Judges - Opinions
What do you think of Mr. Cowell? I think he is spot on with everything he says, have you noticed that when he praises the singers, the crowd adore him but if he tells the truth and says that the song sung was shite, they all turn against him. He is honest, and the people who say that he doesn't know what he is on about, obviously he does.
What about Mrs. Osbourne? I think she is a great person, but I'm not keen on her new look, especially the pants up to the waist last week. What was that all about? I think she is easy to convince, and I don't like the way she doesn't want to do the vote at the end, she knows she has to do it but she say's she doesn't want to to waste time and make it look real. Mr Walsh? I hate him, he is always having a go at Simon and he is a cocky little f*cker. Louis is the only reason why I dont want Shayne to win, I like Shayne but if he wins then Louis will win and I don't want that to happen. |

I like Simon I think he is honest and to the point and I agree with you about the audience.
I like Sharon as a person too although she obviously doesn't like the voting when she is the one who has the casting vote. High waists are very "in" at the moment too Louis, well last time round I liked him but this time he's really annoying. I think he's trying to be too much like Simon though it just doesn't suit him. |

Simon is usually spot-on, I agree, harsh but usually fair. His opinions are objective and it's clear he knows what hes talking about even if I occasionally disagree with him.
Sharon is a nice person, but not the best at judging talent. I'm glad she's there though, if only for representing females! Her love of Shayne puts me off though. Louis makes some terrible choices from time-to-time, and can be a bit childish (case-in-point: "Keep Chenai!") but he's not a bad person really. My least favourite, but still OK. Though I was really pissed the night he dropped James and Trevor

Simon - Easily the best judge on the panel, i agree with practically everything he says. Smart, witty and charming - i have a crush
Louis- My least favourite judge, he has transformed into such a meanie this year, he can be so unbelievably annoying and i hate how he voted during the first live show, completely obvious he only did it to get one over Simon. But funnily enough, sometimes he does make me laugh and i love how Simon insults him Sharon - I think she's lovely and doesn't like to give out negative critcism even though she really should where it's necessary, i think it's nice for the contestants to know that she will be gentle with them, moreso than the other two would be. I really think she cares more than them, about the people in the contest. It's nice to see her getting along with Simon more than she ever has too. Oh and by the way she wasn't wearing high trousers, it was a top, that had a corset type bottom on it that was the same colour as her trousers, you could see the hem of it when she stood up to hug Simon.

Is it true that there's been abit of a 'hoo ha' about 'Sharon's love for Shayne?' Sorry if this has already been discussed but I've not been on for ages!

I couldn't agree more about Louis trying to be Simon, he doesn't suit it one bit! And yeah, it's good that Sharon and Simon are getting on a lot more than the last series - is it also true that Simon and Sharon won't be back next year?

They have both said they won't be returning, it really won't be the same without them

Definitely not, Simon said it is very likely a third one will be made, Louis will be staying on but he won't be and Sharon said she won't be either.

Well sorry, I might just barely have been persuaded to watch one more time if Simon was on, but if Louis is the only judge left in? Give me a break. He almost ruins the show for me anyway with his pathetic drivel and childish behaviour (yes, even if it's scripted it's still ridiculous).
They'd have to pull out some seriously interesting new judges to keep me interested, and I don't mean Nasty Nigel or Geri Halliwell. |

I suppose it would depend who the replacements are, though personally the only judge I have any time for at all is Simon so if he were going there would have to be someone pretty special to replace him. Good riddance to Sharon though , horrid woman.

The x factor will be a waste of time without Simon and Sharon. Did they give reasons to why they were leaving it?

Sharon and Simon are what makes the show, you couldn't do X Factor without them, especially after Sharon winning Most Popular Expert at the NTAs, she's one of the main reasons why people tune in. She is very very popular.
I think Simon will do everything he can to convince her to stay. They didn't give reasons no, as far as i can remember. |

I agree with just about everything Simon says. I did question his choice of Addictiv Ladies to go through to the live shows but could see why he didn't want a surplus of boybands - the early departure of 4Tune kinda justified that decision as well. He is objective, got as frustrated as I did by the other two putting through talentless muppets for novelty value and while I'm not 100% convinced he will remotely care about the "career" of the eventual winner, he is what makes the show worth watching.
I also like Sharon although the whole "I can't send somebody home" moaning when she has the casting vote drives me mad. She is a highly successful businesswoman, she is NOT that soft. The Shayne love bugs me as well but it was mildly amusing to start with, she's just gone too far. Overall, I like her - though definitely question her choice of Chico for the final 4. Louis seems to make the worst decisions - Philip in his final 4? Also not at all keen on Nicholas. I preferred the young blonde lad with the glasses (Trevor?) and I think he would have won a lot of public support. I get the feeling Louis doesn't really care about any of his acts as he is sure Shayne will win. The Mr Nasty act is pretty stupid as well and he is losing a lot of credibility. Will be happy if he manages to get through tonight without referring to the Conway Sisters being Irish or Shane's Irish heritage! |
