"This thread has been closed for legal reasons" (Coincidence or Design).

Could "legal reasons" be the producers deciding that some people were getting too close to the truth, and threatening the future of the program. Who'd bother watching if they knew it was a fix, right?

Or was it just dave_fade threatening to prosecute anyone who called him a windbag?

LOL. I'm resisting as hard as I can the urge to be very flippant here (so as not to upset some of those sensitive and very touchy souls around here who take everything so VERY seriously and so VERY personally) but I can't resist thanking Earthmover for making me giggle.

He was getting a lot of negative comments towards the end and asked the moderators to lock the thread.

He said he wanted it closed and wasn't discussing it anymore, but everytime anyone said anything he kept replying back.

He also plugged a lot, I pointed this out to him but he said it was in defence to others questioning what he said

So don't know but that's sort of how the thread seemed to end last night though there were other posts after mine but I got bored with the arguments and stopped reading

My take on it would be that some part of the content of that thread was contentious.

If it was simply argumentative I think it would have been locked but not completely erased with "for legal reasons" as the explanation.

Or maybe it was the site owners protecting themselves from potential legal action.

Please don't start new threads on subjects which we have clearly removed.
