A shame they ignored Alex
He should have spoken louder ! did you see the way Tim made sure that Alex was ignored when he quietly suggested that the people who have not been up for eviction before should be selected ? He said it really quietly though. Tim quickly changed the suggestion, hoping that no-one had heard him, which I dont think they did. Would have been PJ & Tim up for eviction. Tim would have been out.

I agree! Alex's sugestion was much more fun. Why are they lettng Tim take control? This week in the house is going to be the most boring so far! And as for Jade - She could be in the final! What the *uck! The producers need to go back to school! They should have opened the lines for the viewers to choose. Big Brothers moto is 'you choose'. I think they'll, predictibly, swing the axe over Kate this week. BB is so contrived, they must have a team of script writers to hand.

Re: Re: A shame they ignored Alex
Alec was being soooo fair after all ;o)
The fact that he has been up twice and is starting to smell that 70K have nothing to do with his suggestion. Alex was being fair by choosing from those who were not Alex? Yea, right!!! |

Jonny was getting up at the time, PJ was chatting to Kate and Tim was contemplating ideas of his own.. The only person who genuinely heard Alex was Jade... If only he'd have raised his voice a little more ..

But Tim didn't waste any time suggesting that they draw straws, did he? I know he was probably simply trying to be nice, as usual, but I can't help feeling that he spotted that he had a chance to avoid nomination. And if so, boy did he take it. Can't stand the bloke, but if that's what went through his mind in those 25 seconds then I kind of admire him for his quick thinking.

it is stuff like this which makes me see how great alex is, tim is his greatest ally in there but he isnt compromising what he thinks is right.

Errr ... in the context of this thread: "Alex isn't compromising ..." So he thinks it is right to push for a solution that excludes him from being up for nomination ? Is that the sign of a great man? Where has the old "fall on your sword / go down with the ship" spirit gone? Alex was looking out only for Alex Tim, whatever you might think about his priviliged background, went to a good school. I would expect that his suggestion (the lottery) was put forward as the only fair way of resolving the problem without bitterness. By the way the other HMs (including PJ and Kate) have responded to the outcome it seems he was proved right. Doing the right thing may not be in the national curriculum but it is still there ... |

I agree Al.
Alex only suggested it coz it meant he was safe for this week. Tim's suggestion was the fairest way, ask for volunteers, then draw lots. |
