Well, I personally think he's a very good looking chap, but the thing I like about him more than his looks, is his personality and humour, and of course his moaning. He moans with a lot of style.

Another thing that strikes me about Alex, is that if you didn't know he was model, you'd defo not think he was one. The guy has no ego, he's not vain. You hardly ever see him fussing in front of a mirror, and defo doesn't worry too much about how he looks. People have asked him on eviction nights what he's going to wear, and he just says what he's got on. Proving he's a very down to earth bloke.
”

Well, from just looking at them, you'd think that Tim was the model, the way he preens himself all the time.... except for the fact that he's not quite ood looking enough.... (I'm finding myself getting more and more irritated by his bird lips each time I look at him)

That made be laugh out loud!

Yep Alex is certainly unselfish tonight he showed that better than ever and i hope he and Kate make a firm friendship.

Me too..........In fact, as I hoped, he is like a different person now that Adele's oppressive influence has gone....last nights atmosphere was refreshing........the 'churlish child' act was barely discernable....well done Alex!.........and everyone else!.....I thought all the housemates were enjoyable to watch last night...( ok, so Jade's talk was still to fast to understand, but even she managed to remain un-bitchy)........let's hope they all keep it up for the last few weeks........

I've really enjoyed watching them since Adele's exit .the whole atmosphere seems lighter ...even before the bars went down .As my husband pointed out after watching last nights"lads chat" that wouldn't have happenned had Adele been "in".

Very Unselfish, I must say.
”

Alex had shown concern that there would be no more booze until their shopping arrives on Monday. I fully expect that he will produce them today as they drunk everything else from the hamper last night.

Previously I had no real strong feelings about Jonny either way, but last night he talked constantly over the messages for PJ and Kate. I also couldn't help noticing how he managed to turn every conversation round to his family and how he was feeling, and I got the impression (possibly mistaken) when the task was read out that he thought he should be excluded from the selection as he's been up 3 times and wanted a break.

I know which one I would vote as acting selfishly last night.

When PJ was crying and said that he was going to be seen as a "wuss" for doing so - Alex chipped in with "No you won't, that a sign that you're a real man" which I thought was really sweet of him...bless!

For those of us who saw through Addle long ago ... the change in behaviour of the HMs, in the atmosphere of the house, is absolutely no surprise. I have always seen her role as the catalyst behind much of the anxiety. She had a real skill at bringing the worst out of those around her, even Alex.

Now Addle has gone, we are seeing a much more sociable side of Alex again. Also, even Jonny is cheering up ... perhaps it makes life easier not having "w*nker" muttered every time he walks by!

Of course, Adele fans will find another explanation ... but that's why we have a forum ;o)

Wasnt that sweet!! And the way he sadi it, you could tell he really meant it, it wasnt just something he said to make him feel better - he was just so 'matter of fact' about it.

After watching the mood in the house since Adeles eviction I would be surprised if anyone could make a case for the house being a better place if she had remained. Pro Alex/Adele posters saw Adeles eviction as an excuse for the rest of the house to "gang up" on Alex, in an earlier post I suggested that those remaining (particulary PJ and Kate) would support him as easy as it was to see Adeles bad influence it was just as easy to see the "goodness" that was potentially in the others. As a result I've learnt more about Alex in the last 48hrs than the previous 2 weeks it's as if Adele had thrown a cloak over him.The removal of one HM has brought the group together as one. They have also now realised that the public will dispense their own rough justice on Hms that bitch so efforts will be made to keep the group stable their greatest fear now is the public judgement. I would go as far to say that Alex losing his confidant has boosted his chances,Alex is an easy person to like (the girl with the curl saying) and his stories and group chats interesting put this together with no bars and a tension free eviction week (PJ/Kate) and we can all feel less bitter (especially on this forum) Bet the sun shines for the next week

When Adele left the house I was worried that the knives would be out for Alex but I am now starting to feel again that he has a real chance of winning. He has proved, yet again, just what a nice guy he really is. I did have one moment of anxiety, he was talking to Kate in the bedroom and I think he forgot Adele's name(?)...as a huge romantic I really would like to see them get together in the outside world. But if any of them ever read this forum......when you come out Alex I'd help you forget Adele given half a chance

Although I did vote for Adele - I felt it was a risk - as Alex could have been turned on by the others - and if it was up to jonny he would have been .
However I took a deep breath and voted feeling that Alex had enough personality to recover quickly.
The only spanner in the works is the grotty geordie - lets hope they get him up for nomination soon and the public see thru him.
Having said that - what is Tim for???

You'll have to fight your way past a 17yr old Brazilian model
didn't you hear him talking about her? Adele and Alex were a terrible mis-match she sucked all of his independant thinking from him don't worry about him though because his going to have a great time with the lads this week I suspect that PJ will be the glue that brings the two camps together he converses with ease at Alex and Tims level and makes sure that Jonny is not left friendless IMO PJ is making a late run at being the most sociable HM now he's got that fence crease out of his arse

Bah -17 years old? Shes just a baby, he needs the 'older' woman to sort him out - me being almost 24!!!

You might laugh at the older part, but the realisation that i'm older than most of the BB contestants had me running for my pension book!!

That's blatently untrue.
I've just watched it again twice on E4 and Jonny said nothing whilst the messages were actually being relayed, though during Kate's message Tim quiite loudly said three times 'there's my mum and dad' and Alex pointed out his father talking to someone.
During PJ's message Kate excitedly pointed out her sisters.Jonny's excitement at seeing his parents was BEFORE and IN-BETWEEN the messages.

No, not choosy - which would imply i'm up for anyone!!! You simply have a different taste, which is just as well, as there wouldnt be enought to go around if we all liked the same type of guy!

I did try to inject a bit of friendliness in my last post, I wont bother if you're just going to be sarky.

Don't you think the fact that he's a model shows that he thinks he is good looking?
”

The wonderful thing about Alex is that while he must logically know that he is good looking because he is a model, in the way that a rocket scientist must know that she or he is intelligent, he doesn't consider himself a superior being for it. It's like he views it as a tool of his trade, and doesn't think about it too much. That self pitying speech in the DR after the bath was jaw dropping; he really doesn't appear to know how much sway his beauty has. He was blushing when Adele told him how she felt! I can't believe that he doesn't hear this stuff all the time. That Alex has so little ego is delightfully surprising. That unassuming quality is SO attractive. He's such a well brought young man
