That Alex!..... always fishing for compliments with his (I agree about the speech in the DR after the bath, it was jaw dropping alright ......made me cringe) I'm sure his folks brought him up well, I felt sorry for them today after reading the Sunday Peoples headlines about his soft-porn pics in a German Magazine.

I think it could well be a result of his work environment.... it's not the fact that he doesn't get many compliments.... in fact with his work being a model, I'm sure he gets loads of them (plus more than his fair share of bitchy comments) .... the problem there would be that none of those compliments would be genuine..... now, he's so used to such insincere sentiments, to have someone he respects and feels for pay him a genuine compliment... he's bound to have a reaction like that.... so although he realises that he's good looking, he also knows that this is all that most people see and I guess he's happy that someone likes him for being him.... and not being the "darling" that the have to take pictures of for this shoot...

(Sorry if I'm not making sense.... it's late, and I'm sleepy)

I think the main reason for a lessening of the tension in the house, is nothing to do with Adele's eviction. It's because nominations are already done and dusted, and the majority of them have little to worry about.

You have to remember, that Saturday morning tensions were starting to build again. PJ was running errands for Jonny, gathering info from Alex and reporting back. PJ was also asking Jade to keep her gob shut to Alex about what he'd said. Then what did she do, leave it a while, go the garden, and tell him. So, the atmosphere would still have been relatively hostile in the house, had the task been different.

Come next Thursday/Friday, the atmosphere will change again as the HM's start thinking of nominations again. You have to remember that Jade said to Jonny sometime today, that she wished it had been Alex and Tim up for eviction this week. So, the under current still exists within the house, and it's just waiting to rear it's ugly head again.

When the booze starts flowing, it could rear it's ugly head earlier than you think, and it won't need Adele telling home truths about the HM's to make it happen.

totally agree!......this was always the reason I wanted to vote for adele if she ever came up for eviction....I never came across such an oppressive personality before.........

....sadly Alex seems only to exist by isolating himself....he's doing it again now with his secretive little moans with Tim.....trouble is, like he said himself in the diary room, everyone he bonds with, goes away..awww........and Tim is proving just as shallow as Adele and Sandy.....Alex needs to have more faith in his own qualities rather than surfing along in the wake of those that he perceives to be strong..........otherwise he'll find himself being let down more and more.............I do like Alex, but think he's weak and incredibly easily manipulated....which is why people like Adele and now Tim are happy to have him onside................Kate would make a far better friend for him.....(and I do mean just friends.....nothing smutty!)
