I thought Brendan looked absolutely fuming. Not surprising really, when you have a competitive spirit I think if must be hard to let it go whatever the situation is.

It looked to me like they couldn't wait to get away from each other.

Brendan fans - at least you'll still get to see him dance each week in the results show (and he won't be held back by old concrete feet).

Yeah Brendan seem to wanna get away from Fiona but she had her hands all over his Butt. Then when it came to the final dance she had to run to ( couldnt see who) im presuming her hubbie or craig & kiss them b4 having the final dance. That women is alwful.

Poor Brendan.

Thre's also a fair chance he could be a regular on ITT, as Anton was when he went early last year. I actually warmed to Brendan a bit on Friday nights show

I do wonder if he knew that he nearly got paired up with Zoe, and how very different things might have been.

She ran to Craig (judge) and gave him a kiss Remember, he was always the most honest about her! I feel sorry for Brendan. He didn't have the best of partners last year either did he?

I kind of felt sorry for him at the end, because everyone looked like they were going round giving Fiona hugs, whereas it looked like Camilla was the 1st to give Brendan a hug (which is really nice because it seems to show that they are still great friends!)
I know it was proabably because Fiona was the celebrity and everything, but from the sounds of it, she wasn't enjoying it as much as the other celebs anyway, and IMO Brendan needed the most comiserations, as he looked really crushed!

I have now watched the full programme. I had only seen the results part due to a bonfire party.

Although I think Brendan was out of order in the final dance I do apologise for some of what I said. I now think in the full programme slot he was very good to Fiona, and especailly with the judges. He was very genuine I feel.

I do think he needs to learn to not beat himself up about winning in the series if he is going to take on the teaching role. Winning is different for every celebrity, as Darren Bennett is wise to appreciate.

As a professional dancer Brendan can really compete and always expect the very best. As a teacher he has to mould what he has given and each is given very different pieces of plasticine with personality to work with! They have to learn to accept differing goals. I think he has started to get there.

Is he one of the younger professionals?

kez100 you ask if Brendan was one of the younger professionals, well he is 29 years old

I think it was Craig she ran to. She seemed to crave his approval because he was the hardest on her. Then again we don't know what goes on behind the scenes. They could all be having a huge laugh and getting ratted together.

It seems strange that Fiona and Brendan went this week after getting such a high viewer vote last week. Maybe it was due to the fact that so many people were out at firework displays last night????? I was so sad to see them leave and Brendan looked SO upset

I was in the audience at the show last week and was lucky enough to meet Brendan and Fiona - they are both SO lovely!

I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He is a very talented dancer, and in rehearsals for the foxtrot(i think) it looked like Fiona was holding onto brendan for dear life and was not really 'dancing'
Brendan looked really upset and I just wanted to go and give him a big big hug!! At least he's not being held back and we'll get to see him dance with Karen in the results shows for weeks to come. I thought Camilla was really sweet when she went and gave him a hug, and he really is a lovely guy.

Brendan is a joy to watch and I shall really miss him on Saturday nights . It must be so difficult to dance to this level with someone who doesn't seem able to believe they can do it, especially as Fiona had improved so much this week. Comparing the Foxtrot to the Waltz four weeks ago her improvement is 100% so good on both of them for persisting.

I saw Camilla give him a hug too and it was so nice to see that despite all the media hype about their relationship they do still get on and want the best for each other .

You lot all seem to think he'd be great in the bedroom. He probably wouldn't give you a second thought and knock whatever confidence you had in turning you down.

Yes, he got a bad partner, but I don't see why they should be cherry picked for him. The professional are ll great dancers. If he wants to join in (and be paid) he takes the risk.”

I couldn't agree more. Matthew Cutler who is a fantastic dancer hardly got his dancing shoes warmed up, but was incredibly professional when voted off. He was probably equally gutted to have gone so early. Zorro showed equal professionalism, but Brendan did look rather like a spoilt child ( no surprises there !!!!!). Its the luck of the draw with which celebrity they get and I for one would like to see more of Matthew and Zorro so hope that they are more fortunate with partners if there is SCD4.

The women pros are doing great jobs and I would be happy to see Darren and Lilia or Colin and Erin win.
