I have NEVER liked Fiona and Brendan does get on my wick. But last night whilst watching, I did give credit where credit was due, she had improved, but I totally dislike the way she went on about Denis being at the bottom position. When she was in such a position for three consecutive weeks all the other celebs were very supportive of her but she just cared that she was above him - I didn't like that, thought it showed a childish streak!

Fiona was pants & Brendan is too conceited for my liking. Out of everyone, they were definately the ones to go last night!

Brendan is awful - see the way his hands were all over Fiona - in fact they are every week.

Having said that she didn't seem to mind either!

Well said. I'd like to say I was surprised she said something like that but I'm not. When I still watched GMTV I'd often cringe at things she'd say to people. She was quite often bitchy but thought if she said it with a smile that no-one would notice.

Of course, reaction to comments like that depend on whether you like a person or not but it wouldn't surprise me if she'd sealed her own fate by harping on out being grateful for Dennis being there, etc.

In Brendan's position I'd feel like a bird set free today.

I have to admit I clapped and cheered a little when Fiona was voted out.

I will say she did a lot better this week, but she wasn't anywhere near the standard of the remaining couples, so I felt she was the right choice.

I agree it was a shame

i was gutted Brendan when- it was such a shame it got stuck with the worse person to dance with. I feel that if Fiona had just shut that big gob of hers ref poor Dennis then she & Brendan may have gotten through. I feel Her comments really were the nail in the coffin for her. Does she not relise she is depriving us all of the very sexy Brendan.
(still at least he will be there for the exbishion dances( soz about spelling)

I really hope that next year Brendan get a really good partner so that he can win again.

There was a big "Yes!" and "Mwahaha" in our living room.

I think she was better for about the first 20 seconds then it all went to pot again. Even the skirt on that beautiful dress couldn't hide the clomping going on underneath.

She was the right choice, and really it was only the first 15 seconds or so that were okay, by half way through she was hanging on for dear life and Brendan seemed to be attempting to steer a dead jellyfish in a sparkly dress round the floor.

I suspect Dennis will go next week, and, baring some massive improvement, it will be the right time for him (and it will also stop the fear I have that he's going to keel over with a heartattack at the end of each routine )

Did anyone else notice that Fiona seemed to be mouthing something during the dance - either she was talking to Brendan or singing along to the tune.

I guessed she might be trying to tell Brendan she had got it all wrong halfway through and he just carried on with a smile plastered on his face. Pure comedy, bless her.

I thought the comments about Dennis were meant to be funny and they were but they also came over as mean. If Dennis had gone out instead of Fiona, then it would have looked really bitchy.

She also made a comment in her column about Zoe Ball taking ballet lessons as a child implying it was unfair.

You would not believe how happy I was and how much I cheered when they said Brendan and Fiona were out! Fiona looked as though she was a rag doll in most of her performances! I know, I know, she's not a dancer she's a presenter, but she could have at least took on board what the judges said about her in the first few weeks I mean, just look at her arms when she was away from Brendan!! Limp and pathetic in my opinion! Her facial expressions in most (if not all) of her dances was as though she couldn't care less at all!

Yeah I saw that! I reckon she did a step wrong or something and was saying about it!

Though I think Brendan was 'bom bom bom-ing' along to the music near the end when they went off on the wrong leg!

Reminds me about what I said last night. All of a sudden I realised she reminded me of those comedy floppy dolls. The feet would be tied to the man's ankles and the arms around the neck and then they'd just flop around while the man danced. I think they used to use them on The Generation Game or something like that.

I know what you mean. I think you're right, too, it'll be his time to leave next week. After that it'll start getting hard to choose, I think. There might be some surprises in who goes.

aww so gutted about fiona and brendan. Personally I thought that she was going to go, as everyone who has gone so far have been girls. I was disappointed with Dennis and Izabela, but they've done so well in the other dances that they probably have a huge following.
I have to admit that I was soo pleased with Will and Hanna getting through that I wasn't really bothered, but I was disapointed when they left. I felt she had made a real improvement and I couldn't help but feel sorry for brendan.

Gutted - I can't believe they've gone . Brendan looked so upset when they were called and having been rescued three weeks running from bottom of the leader board by the public I guess he hoped it would continue.

I love watching Brendan dance (for more reasons than the dancing ) but also as he so passionate about what he does and what he wants to achieve that he wants his patner to feel that excitement too.

Roll on next week celeb spot so that we can see him again - and if he could wear that lovely suit again on ITT tomorrow night I'll be a happy (and drooling) girl !!

Having watched the results show again after comments about Brendan being unprofessional and rude to Fiona, I think it anything she was extremely rude to him, it was obvious he was struggling to keep it together and she's busy grinning and wailing pathetically "do we have to" when they have to go for the last dance, and then to compound it she lets him walk on to that yawning dance floor alone while she goes off to kiss Craig Revel Horward.

If it was me I'd have wanted to thump her, he did very well to keep his cool, would loved to have seen his facial expression when she walked away from him like that, but sadly the camera hid it!!

I can quite see why his response might look un-professional but the truth is there never was much connection or chemistry between them so dont think it would be natural to them to hug at that point unlike Anton and Patsy or Zoe and Ian who are obviously very close and hug and kiss all the time. After all she didnt exactly comiserate with him, and even talking seemed hard for him when with Brucie and Tess.

So give the Boy a break he did his best with her, she would have driven the sanest, calmest person mad, and I for one look forward to him on ITT tonight.

Ps. Confession time, I seem to be smitten with Anton how did that happen!! If only there was a man that was a combination of Brendan, Ian and Anton, now talk about hot!!!!!!!

Don't worry, it's a natural reaction to being confronted with the legend that is the Du Beke. We all go through it at one time or another.

Are you joking !!!! Dennis was horrendous this week, poor Izabella. It was just so cringe-worthy again. Even though Fiona has been so dire every other week, this was probably the only week she deserved not to go !!!!!

Now all of the best male pros are out !!!!!
Darren Gough to win..... at least he has thrown himself into this body and soul.

I liked Fiona and Brendan, and was sad to see them leave. I did feel sorry for Brendan when they announced the final dance and Fiona said 'do I have to?'. At least he got a hug from Camilla - that was nice to see.

I totally agree, and personally think thats why she went out over Dennis. It was a horrible and childish thing to do, to be so happy that someone else had gotten a mauling by the judges and had scored lower than her. Particularly when all of the other celebs had been so supportive towards her and her awful dancing.
