The truth is that they are both fairly ordinary people - therefore having plenty of good and bad points - who both act in a reasonable manner the majority of the time.

If the first casualty of war is truth, then the first casualty of Big Brother discussion boards is a sense of proportion.

Thank heavens for someone with something sensible to say! At last someone who can see the points raised on this forum in an objective way instead of jumping on a bandwagon. Well said Dipsy. There is an element of reason on this Forum after all.

it is a well known fact (i think) that people find someone to dislike, then find reasons to dislike them afterwards.

So if you like Alex then he can do no wrong, whereas Jonny haters will be making a meal out of everything little thing he does
