Nice interview here. I do like her, the sort of girl you could be good mates with I reckon!

I have always liked Zoe - she seems such a lovely 'ordinary' person, which is so hard to find the the 'celeb' world. She's had her tough times and made her mistakes, but she's come out the other end.

She's a wonderful dancer - I hope this opens many more doors for her and we see her back on mainstream t.v. very soon.

Oh and she'll definitely win SCD

My nephew saw her at Glastonbury and said hello. She grinned at him and said "All right mate" so she's a firm favourite with him now.

I didn't think much about her either way when the show started but from the first week I think she's been lovely. She comes across as very genuine and without any pretension.

I like her but the expressions she makes to camera annoy me.

I also don't like her pretending she cannot do a dance and then it turns out really well.

Some of the scores they get even in their "terrible" week are great by most standards

I really like her, always have. To me she comes across as extremely honest and a good person. I also like the fact her and her husband weren't willing to just throw their marriage away, they worked at it and now seem extremely happy. I'd love her and Ian to win, if not them then Darren and Lilia.

I hadn't noticed this. I've seen her express worries about a dance, but I've not had the impression that she's one of those people who says "Oh I'm hopeless" and then turn out to brilliant (that drives me up the wall!!).

I'll be watching carefully now to see what she says.

Maybe I'm wrong and being unfair. Although initially she did lead us to believe she couldn't dance. She must have known after a few rehearsals she was doing okay. Maybe that was for drama purposes by the producers.

Yeah, I must admit when I heard she was going to be in it I thought she'd be awful!

Come to think of it now, I remember Claudia Winkleman saying something to her about "you said you couldn't dance". Maybe she just didn't have faith in herself until she went out and danced in front of an audience. Goodness, I'm being kind, that's not like me at all.

I know that Patsy seems to go back to square one each week, saying she can't do it. That must be quite wearing for Anton, having to build up her confidence every week.

I like to hear her back on the Radio. Maybe an offer at BBC Radio Two? She is very attractive woman.

I can't believe the producers wanted to pair her with Brendan. That would have been really unfair - giving Brendan young partners three serieses in a row.

They probably wanted to do that pairing for the gossip value but I think she and Ian make a much better dancing couple. Good on her for saying no to Brendan.

Sarah was Brendan's only young partner Natasha was 32 years old and fino was 44 years old

Oh, I think 32 is quite young (although I'm younger!). If he'd got Zoe, he would have got partners who were 32, 34 and whetever age Sarah is (29?) which I think is quite a young bunch when compared to, say, Gloria Huniford or Esther Rantzen.

I've been fearing for a while now that the public (or at least forums like this one) will eventually turn against Zoe because they start to believe she is pretending, or that the emotion she shows is "playing up to the cameras".

Indeed, once the suggestion has been made, it will affect how people perceive her, so that more people start seeing her as pretending (regardless of whether she really is or not). If people start watching her "closely", looking for signs, they will probably find something that they can interpret as evidence, and then the cycle of spinning the details and mind-reading will begin.

Also, female celebs in particular have to walk a very fine line to avoid getting some kind of negative reaction.

However, I think Zoe is genuainely surprised that she is so good at this, and that she's still not confident of her ability. She's putting a lot of herself into this, and there are many hours of practice, which as well as being physically and emotionally tiring, must contain quite a few mistakes and times when she struggles. Also, doing well creates its own pressures. So I'm not surprised by the way she behaves, and I don't think any of it is fake.

BTW, if I remember reports in this forum correctly, in her `"terrible" week' she had little time to practice because of things she had to handle at home. (In the Sunday Mirror article, it mentions her house being flooded.)

Blimey if 32 is classed as old..there's no hope for me then.

Totally agree with this Veri!

I love saying that as we used to disagree all the time when BB was on!

No 32 is not old I was just saying that was Natasha's age

I had never really come across Zoe before this, but she does seem like a lovely person. She seems to take on all the comments both from Ian and the judges in a positive way and use them to build on for the following week.

But after watching last night maybe there is just a little bit of favouritism from the judges as I thought Will and Hanna's performance was lovely and so elegant and graceful to watch and probably deserved four 9's just as much - but then they did come second

That's okay! Just when you said Sarah was Brendan's only Young partner...you can see why I got the thought 32 was not young!

I wish I was 32.
