Hi I have read quite a few of the threads and would just like to say.... am I the only Colin fan! He is lush. I know he hasn't danced as well as he did the first few weeks but I just feel next week he is going to sparkle. Does anyone know what the dances are for next week?

I think he's very impressive and obviously committed and very competitive too - well he's a sportsman after all!

I think the dances are the Viennese Waltz and the Samba (?).

As I am new to these boards I had only read some and there seemed to be a lot about Darren, James and Will but not Colin so just wanted to find out if there were more Colin supporters out there

I normally stick to the media forums, but have been sneaking over here recently to keep up with the SCD forum too. I'm a big Colin fan. Athletics is my favourite spectator sport and he was my favourite athlete for many years. I've lost count of the number of times I've shouted him home. In interviews, he always came across as a genuine nice guy and real sportsman. I'd love to see him win.

Yup, I reckon you and I are the same person. I agree with everything you say. I always loved to see him hurdling and he has been fantastic on SCD.
Come on the Welsh boyo!!

I'm a Colin fan too - so much so that I actually vote for him and Erin every week along with Ian and Zoe/Darren and Lilia.
I love his attitude and total committment - and the outfit he wore to do the paso doble made him look scorching. I'd really like to see them do that routine again .. to some decent music this time .
I honestly think 'Thriller' lost them votes and can only imagine how their dance would have rocked if they'd nicked the Prokofiev gavotte from James and Camilla .. or used that music Torville and Dean ice-danced the paso to all those years ago.
Anyway, the point of this post is to say that Colin does have fans .. and he's gorgeous

Another big Colin fan here, and it's not just that I love athletics either, I didn't want Denise to win last year and yet I admired her so much in athletics, I just think Colin is fabulous, and by far the most talented dancer this series... unfortunately Arlene seems to have taken a dislike to him, which is pretty obvious by her score, I mean she gave Colin and Erin the same score last week as she scored Fiona this week, there is just no comparison!!!

Pity about their music choice this week, it really wasn't dramatic enough for the paso but their dancing was still excellent.

Count me in! Big Colin fan. I'm new on here too, I thought I was too blinking old for things like this, but I love SCD and ITT.

Colin is easily the best dancer and I really hope he wins. Perhaps it is the editing but he comes across a tad dull and focused/competitive, not the done thing today. What I like about him is his honesty and drive; he doesn't fawn, mess around or whine.

Colin's lovely!! Loved his secret move and think he could go on to win?!

He is good technically, but that is not enough. There is zero chemistry there and his partnership with Erin does nothing for me...sorry!

I antcipate him and Erins samba will really rock. He has a fantastic hip movement, flexible body, and smile to bump up anybodys mood. All the things he didn't get the chance to show off in the Pasa Doble and Tango.

He never complains and has had two weeks of jury service which has just been passed over as a third party comment. Hopefully thats it now and he can get back to being the top of the charts.

Go Colin Go Erin

Exactly. Although Colin is not my favourite celebrity at the moment (he may be if some others go out), I really admire the way he and Erin take the judges comments graciously and don't constantly argue back. They accept that some weeks their performance isn't as good as it could have been, seem content that their marks are justified, and just get on with the job the following week.

Colin to be in the last 3

Yes Colin to win! I agree that Arlene definitely has it in for them. But I have noticed that most of the judges have been putting the boot into them and near enough written them off.

I don't think he comes across as dull. Just a very competitive guy who wants to do his best, and afterall he has been competitive and focus throughout his career.

Come on Colin shake those hips!

I've been fighting to keep Colin in the 'Who do the FPs like?' thread, because I think he's so talented. The last couple of weeks he's dropped out of sight on ITT etc because he's been doing jury duty, which has no milage (unlike an injury or something like that). I think this week he'll really show the rest of them how it's done - I'm expecting all out commitment and two cracking dances. If he doesn't do it this week I think the judges will continue to mark him further down the leaderboard, and he'll be struggling.

I liked Colin, but I just don't think he's keeping up to the standard, I know he's had jury duty and all but I think he needs to work a little bit harder to keep in the show!

I have to totally disagree! I love the Colin and Erin partnership! I think they have chemistry which in my opinion really showed through in their Paso Doble.

I agree with Kez his Samba will rock! He's off jury duty now isn't he? So he'll have lots more time to practice and after watching his natural rhythm in the Cha Cha Cha and how hot that routine was, I think his and Erin's Samba will sizzle too. Then you'll see the chemistry

I hope he wins, because I love Erin and really want her to

Did you see the snake hips at work in the taster on ITT tonight? I think Colin fans are in for a treat! Erin looked a bit as though she was going through the motions, but I'm sure she'll turn it on tomorrow and we'll see something good.

What a trooper he is, not making a fuss and getting on with things. I hope he doesn't do further damage to his foot by continuing to work so hard. This has really been the series for injuries, hasn't it?

Oh I so agree. If that was just a taster I can't wait for whats to come tommorrow.

I wouldn't mind swapping places with Erin!

Colin fans, I seem to be fighting a single-handed and losing battle to keep Colin and Erin in the 'Who do the FPs like' thread here: http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/...55#post6165755

If you want to keep him in the running to win our own pointless but amusing forum popularity contest, it would be super if you could go and knock a point off a couple of your choice and give it to Colin. I really don't want to see the rather wooden James win, even though the prize is nothing.
