They’re obligated to pass these comments on and as we all know someone somewhere is gonna get a serious bollocking if they start getting hundreds of calls from irate viewers who feel as though they’ve been conned. Be polite but succinct and explain why Saturday’s show was a farce. Wouldn’t hurt to throw something in there about the blatant profiteering C4 are engaging in this year which does tie in with yesterday’s show as the phone lines are open for a whole week instead of just a few days. I’ll also be letting them know they’ll not have my phone vote for this or any of the other evictions. Hit them in the wallet - it’s the only language they’ll understand.

Please do this - Even a couple of hundred extra calls on top of the ones they must already have received will result in action being taken. Who knows we may get an apology on BBLB for the pathetic quality of the show and for being conned into expecting something huge.

They can’t. They’re obligated under ITC rules to consider all complaints and comments. They have to be written down and submitted to the relevant departments. All terrestrial (not sure about cable/sat) channels have a duty log specifically for recording viewers comments. Most of the time if they even get 20 comments on a show, that’s considered a lot so you can see if they’re flooded with complaints for this, they’ll have to take notice.

Nor did I but it doesn't make me want to lodge a formal complaint.

The amount of money being made out of the show?
As far as I know no-one is forced to call, send a txt msg or pay for the internet streaming.

Yes, but sometimes the most cursory look at a comment would be "consideration": as they no doubt get a lot of spurious complaints; I deal with complaints where I work: you can always tell the real ones from the mickey mouse ones, the latter don't take up too much of my time!

Mis-leading hype and advertising billing Saturday’s task as this earth shattering event when all it was was the nomination process brought forward by a couple of days.

Somehow, I don't think the ITC will upheld this complaint.

The ITC doesn’t need to get involved. 300 people phoning complaints will set alarm bells ringing at C4. If you don’t make your complaints known now you can guarantee we’ll have more of the same kind of shit in the remaining weeks and also for next year’s show. Check the number of threads in this forum to gauge how cheated people feel.

You can complain about being misled surely. Sure it was a sacrifice, but it was not that huge. They gave up a message from their family in order to stay in the house, which they didnt even do really coz they drew lots. I will ring later, if somebody tells me how much it is a min.

i shall certainly be ringing. The more the merrier. It was a farce designed simply to rake in more money and cover their embarrassment for those ridiculous bars.

It is a local London number, not a premium rate, so depending where you are in the country, it will cost the usual telephone rate of your telecomms provider.

Just don't vote this week. I don't think anybody really hates either Kate or PJ - so there's no reason to vote really.

I disagree with the idea of last night's show being a farce!

BB3 had up to last night only made me smile, laugh, rant, scream, shout, have me sitting on the edge of my seat, and generally be in my thoughts most of my waking day. Last night it finally made me cry. HONEST! PJ's reaction to his home tape sent me over the edge and finally, I love him!

None of us can consider what its really like in there, I met Melanie from BB1 in the MTV studios a few weeks ago and she said that was the hardest part, so we can imagine how it must have been to finally have some contact with the outside world.

OK the "task" was a bit of a let down, and I really thought with Alex being locked in the DR for 5 minutes, plus the prospect of the as yet unopened Envelope 2, that BB had more up its sleeve.

But as for it being a con that the lines are open for 2 more days, SO WHAT? Personally, if I vote at all, I always leave it till Friday evening!

Anyway, did anyone clock Tim's reaction to Alex's (IMO) great idea about who to choose for the eviction. Alex suggested that the 2 HMs that hadn't been up for the vote, (namely Tim and PJ) put themselves forward. Tim hastily talked over him with the "drawing straws" idea! And the relief on his face afterwards was very comical!

I still think Endemol and C4 are doing a great job in coming up with new ideas to make the show different from the last two years, and I think its fair that its being paid for purely by its fans. I think if you have a problem with the money they make from the phone votes, my answer is simple, DON'T VOTE!
