I like soundtracks and recently got the Sleepless In Seattle soundtrack , think of getting Dirty Dancing soundtrack.

What are your fave soundtracks?

It's actually Shrek 2. Doesn't look good, but it's actually got some great songs on it.

Me too. I have the 2 disk version full of 60s classics.

Of recent times I'd have to go with Garden State.

I was gonna say Garden State. That's a brilliant soundtrack.

I'm quite fond of 28 Days Later as well.

Good post - soundtracks are probably my favourite type of music. I'm also a big Craig Armstrong fan and he's known for some stunning soundtrack work.

My favourites are:

Armageddon
Cruel Intentions
Gone In 60 Seconds
Love Actually
Romeo & Juliet
The Matrix Trillogy
Coyote Ugly
Titanic
Pearl Harbour
and
Welcome to Sarajevo

But my overall fave would have to be "Armageddon".

Steve.

Sorry forgot a few I'd like to add...

Labyrinth (David Bowie)
War Of The Worlds (Original Version)
Topgun
Pretty Woman

If we're talking television soundtracks I'd include:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Spooks

Rent is definatly one of my favorites (both the stage and the film sound tracks)
Romeo and Juliet,
Dirty Dancing (both soundtrack albums)
Phantom of the opera film soundtrack (the one released last year, not the 70's one)

The soundtrack to singles is pretty cool.

All good stuff and Paul Westerburgs dyslexic heart is a fun choon.

Pulp fiction.
The only two i own, but the city of Angels one is scratched from over-use.

The 'Kids' OST is great. Natural One by Folk Implosion is an excellent tune.

Garden State soundtrack is really good too although I already had the stuff on there so didn't actually buy it.

I love all three LOTR soundtracks, but my favourite has to be Labyrinth for the Bowie tracks (and some beautiful instrumentals too). Dirty Dancing is also great.

Lol... the 80s... the years of cheesy music, film and fashion. Makes me cringe now when I hear the music and watch the films again but secretly I do still love it all. Maybe its nostalgia.
