Who seriously expected last night to be anything other than a non event

Lets face it:

We knew the bars where comming down. We knew they where spreading rumours but not telling us anything. We knew that they had half an hour to fill (and whatever they did it was going to be filler)

They are now in a good situation - no bars and to reduce the conflict even more a week of luxury and no nominations. They know exactly what they are doing - it will bring out the nice side of the contentants and we will be back for the last 3/4 weeks to old BB with all the feel good and caring about the contestants that went before.

Everything they do they get a host of "They have ruined the show" comments - bars go up - ruining the show - bars come down - task "ruins the show". The fact thay they get so many complaints shows that people care about the show.

As for phoning the complaints line - I bet they expect a certain number of compliants - and if they DON'T get them there are meetings asking why..

I didn't buy the "HMs had to evict a HM" theory, but I did expect something a bit more entertaining/controvertial.

They promised the ulitmate sacrife and we got them drawing lots. It was really really poor. It makes it worse by the fact they hyped it up so much.

We know what the producers wanted - big argument/discussion between HM. That could have been entertaining as HM would have effectively nominated people in front of them (rather than anonymously in the diary room on Monday ). The implications of that would have lasted all week (JADE!!!)

They MESSED Up

DONT VOTE THIS WEEK

I don't know what I expected, but I did expect something better than what I saw !
It was a lame & lazy idea, a waste of airtime.
BB3 promised us better, tougher tasks than ever this year.
Well whoop-de-woo ! It was as tough as a fresh cow pat !

The producers could have prevented the HM's from drawing lots. The HM's wouldn't have debated nominations in front of each other by choice, would they? I think the producers have given everyone a nomination holiday to get relations back on track. They are all soooo suspicious of one another. e.g. Kate frantically making friends with Jade immediately after Adele's unpleasant departure. And last night, didn't PJ come out of his shell? The first genuine emotion we've had from him so far in my opinion.

When Alex read the task out - didn't it say on it that the housemates had to remain on the sofa?

Then Tim got up and got the paper or whatever it was they used?

Did I imagine this?

Good point LadyKnight - forgot that.

But why, then, did BB not prevent Tim fetching the paper they used to draw lots with?

BB IS GOING SOFT!
