'Hard reset' my nokia...
I was having a problem with my nokia 3220, couldn't send MMS.
I ohoned vodafone, the guy told me to hard reset my phone, said 'it'll sort it, i guarentee...' He said... Switch phone on.. take out the battery, with it still on... take out the sim... switch it on... take out the battery again... reassemble. It worked too, has anyone heard of this???? |

That's not a hard reset it's a soft reset. It disconnects you and then reconnects you from the network and it's suprising how many problems (most of them somehow related to the GPRS network) can be resolved by doing it.
A hard reset would be completely wiping the phone ans restoring it to factory settings. |
