Its gonna get harder to decide....
I've been a big fan from the beginning but this series is by far the best and now most of the dead wood has gone i think its going to be hard for the remaining celeberities; i reckon Dennis will go on Sat followed by Bill
Then who knows...My money was on Zoe but now i'm not so sure - what do others think?? |

I think Dennis is a cut below the others. Bill is in the next level up but I can't see major improvements coming now, although they are likeable people and fun and I will miss them when they go.
Will is so unpredicatable. Patsy too to a certain extent, and with the Samba this week she and Anton are going to have to put on their latin shoes and it will be interesting to see where it leads. James is cute. He has the potential. I hope is back mends fast and he come up with a stormer. I'm not sure he will with the samba though. Darren, Zoe, Colin all have the potential to be top but, we have seen, none of them are infallible and it really adds to the need for great performances. Good ones are soon no longer going to offer them safety. It really is going to be an interesting series. |

It will be interesting this week as all the good male pros ( for Latin ) have bit the dust.It will be interesting to see what Ian and Anton come up with as a routine. I think that both Patsy and Zoe are best at ballroom so we could see Darren and Lilia shine again as he seems to be a reasonable all rounder. |

Does anyone know who will be doing what dance next week as that will have a massive impact on how well for e.g Patsy and Will do. Is it allocated or do the pairs get to pick to some extent? and does anyone know at what stage it switches to the remaining contestants doing two dances a night?

From what has been said I assume they are all doing the samba. There is, also, the Vianesse Waltz (the twirly one), and last year they all danced that together and each couple had there little time in the centre to do a lift or special move. Do you remember Julian when he joined back in to the twirly circle and went the wrong way?
I think Ian is lovely in latin. So flexible. |

I can't wait for Anton back in his Latin trousers. I hope it's going to be the white waistcoat/trousers combo again, it's my favourite!
I think now it's going to come down to the second-tier dancers, who I think are Dennis and Bill. I like Dennis, but I think it's time for him to go. I love Karen too, she's so much fun and so sweet, I don't want to see her leave, but I'm not a Bill fan (sorry, sorry), I don't think he's as good as the rest of the dancers. After that, it depends how James does. If his back doesn't get better fast he'll be struggling to keep up the standard. I expect he'll get through a couple of times on the force of public interest in his relationships with Camilla and Darren Gough, but it won't be fair to keep him in if he can't keep up with the rest of the celebs. I don't want to see him become another Fiona... Will and Hanna will have to keep that same high standard we saw on Saturday if he's going to stay in. I just don't think he has the fanbase that the other celebs do, and for me the judges always seem to come down on him quite hard. He'll have to really work to stay at the top of the board if he's going to stay in. |

Watching ITT tonight I always try and guess what the couples are going from clips of the training vids. I think James and Camilla are doing the walz and Darren and Lillia the Samba. But maybe all couples are doing both?? I dunno...I love both dances next week though. What happens after that though, in the week after next? I can't remember from last year!

Dance dreamer. They all do both. All do Samba and get a judged score (like usual). Take a break, and then all do the VW together. Its judged as a whole but no individual scores given Last year I think the VW was danced in the results show not the main show.

The VW is being treated as a proper dance this time, if what was said at the end of last Saturday's show is correct. It was said (by Bruce I think, so he may be wrong) that couples would be doing either the Samba or VW. The extended format (10 weeks) and the fact that when we get down to six or less couples they will have to do two dances, means that there may not be a "communal" dance. There are some new dances added anyway but I can't remember where I saw them listed or what they are (salsa?, some other form of tango/quickstep?).

I believe the new dances are jitterbug, argentine tango and salsa.
I can't wait to see the jitterbug! I loved it on SDF. I know that some people think they should stick to the standard competitive dances on SCD, but the one thing that was a real treat about SDF was seeing a lot of different dances I'd never seen before. It's a shame they aren't allowed to do lifts, I'd love to see Colin and Erin do a really fast lindyhop with lots of Erin getting thrown around! Because I'm not a dancer, I don't really understand the distinction between what SCD and SDF do, I just know I enjoyed seeing a few different dances I hadn't seen before. |

At the moment I'd say...
Dennis to go next - bless him for trying, but he really is a level down from everyone else (and constantly looks like he's about to have a heart attack, which is a bit off putting )Then Bill, lovely chemistry with Helen, but not in the same league as the others. Then James/Patsy/Will - Have their strengths, but for me all lack something, James doesn't have the lightness on his feet and can seem a bit stiff to me - the dance dosen't seem to flow naturally, Patsy lacks, IMO, some of the poise around the floor. Will has been brilliant in ballroom, but gets let down by the Latin side every time so far. Then Colin/Zoe/Darren - all have performed fantastic dances, although Colin and Zoe have both fluctuated a bit, they still maintain a high standard. Darren is improving all the time and, after next week, if he keeps it up, could be out on his own in front. Zoe and Darren especially have the advantage of having amazing chemistry with their professional partners. |

i was right on my prediction for poor old Dennis - but who is next - i did think it was going to be Bill but now i'm not so sure - it could be poor old Will (and i was sooo cross with the judges on Sat) I thought he did very well and made me reach for the phone several times !!
I think the judges are biased towards Zoe but i have gone off her a bit - she seems very big headed to me and as for the rumours that she is having extra tuition - if its true its not fair on the others ! Go Patsy - show Anton what you're made off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

What's the problem if Zoe is getting some help with her dancing - Bill has been getting help from a dance instructor too but I don't hear any complaints about that. All the professionals call in their friends/partners/coaches to help - it's happened in every series so far. Nowhere in the rules does it say that the professionals cannot call on extra help when needed - it sounds awfully like sour grapes from which ever 'celeb' leaked it to the press.

Sorry Strictly no poem - couldn't get all this lot to rhyme
My feeling is that no 'celebs' 'leaked' anything but as others have said, Zoe and Patsy seem to have been targetted by the tabloids since Fiona has gone out. They've probably just printed something thats common knowlege or Zoe may have openly discussed. There's no problem with her doing it. The rules are not that everyone has to have the same number of hours tuition with only their professional - now that would make it interesting! 20 hours each and thats all! Arlene's banging on about 'its not what you do, it's what you do with it' would really come into play! All are free to do as they please with extra training. And maybe she really needs it *hides under the table waiting for the flames from the Zoe lovers*bees knees |
