Great bit of kit. No problems. A few software tweaks would be the icing on the cake.

Obviously people are more likely to post when they are having problems so is there anybody who has not encountered any problems with this box? If so - where did you buy it and how long have you been using it?

Thanks...”

Go for it! Just migrated 5 days ago from a dreadfully unreliable Sagem 6240 which I had for 6 months.

Heavily tested since arrival - 26 perfect recordings accross various channels. Zero fails (TV), Zero no Sounds (despite provoking from info on this forum), Zero lockups.

Only verified bug is fails to record radio in standby (OK when left on). Does not bother me, only tried it to test what had been reported elswhere here anyway.

It does so much extremely well and yet still lots of nonsense posted re "Chase play" ie pausing/rewinding a recording channel. (you can still do that on all the other channels providing you are not recording 2 at once).
Quite frankly I can put up with that and you can work around it by leaving the box on the recording channel before the recording starts anyway.

9200 owners don't know they are born !- have a look at http://www.pvrworld.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=114.0 and be thankful (unlike me!) you didn't buy a Sagem!

From what I have Seen, Humax actually care as well!

That link does give an impressive bugs list!!!
It makes the Humax sound perfect even though I have contacted them about the no sound probs. At least I have had a reply both on the phone and by email so it looks as if, yes they do care.
BTW the reply said that they were working on a software fix for mux 2 no sound recordings.
