Everyone minds their own business, so you commit no wrongthought by insulting them for their flaccid excuses for being. Now, imagine if one particularly ugly simian was to suddenly jump in front of you screeching "Look at me! Look at me!! Am I good or Bad??? Pretty or ugly???"

I'd feel vindicated in whatever capacity I ridiculed or lauded them. There's a big difference between a regular fool and a tossed off mindspaz like Jade who deliberately appears on TV. She INVITES us to ridicule her. So just enjoy the fun.

I don't see why people are having a problem with Ben here.

He starts a thread with a positive reason in mind. He gets hostility.

Some other guy starts a hate campaign thread, and everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

I agree Ben, Graham Norton used to be one of my favourite celebs. Now he behaves in a way that would get him hanged if he were on BB as a contesatant.(and he wasn't a celebrity, of course).

5 nights a week, he's literally stirring up hatred.
I think he didn't realise the consequences at first, then realised the potential seriousness. And now he's no choice but to say he wants her to win it. Backtracking, while still sticking the knife in.

If the lass ends up causing herself serious harm, he's going to have to feel a bit of guilt, as should the tabloids.

Like was said, if she can't defend herself, it'll just escalate. And when she comes out her world could collapse around her.

It could well be that she's stable enough to handle the public backlash.

But if we have her topping herself, I'd be gutted if people just carried on saying we don't care, she knew the risks,she brought it on herself.

I don't like her much, but I don't want to see her dead.

It's not about whether you like Jade or not. Ben's asking if people feel Graham Norton is out of order.

If it gets to the point where you try and associate the people who care about Jade's situation, with Jade herself, then it's you who needs to lighten up.

I think there's a good chance she'll probably do fine.

She's definitely not boring, so she might turn a potential negative situation into an opportunity to be a minor celebrity.

I think Graham Norton is taking it a bit too far, but lets remember that it is only a TV show and it is not just Graham Norton. There are the tabloids, other TV programs, the radio, etc. If you don't like what a TV or a radio show is portraying, switch it off. If you don't like what a newspaper is printing, don't buy it.

what's the problem here, Jade is ONLY 21 such a young age, I mean at 21 the only thing she can really do for herself is buy penny sweets for the newagents. It's all down to her mother you see, Jade doesn't have a mind of her own she's OBVIOUSLY had every second of her life controlled by her mother, why these people are criticising Jade is beyond me. The comments about Jade’s resemblance to a pig have taken off because unfortunately the outer Jade so accurately reflects the inner Jade. I can’t pretend that if she’d have been a saint no-one would have taken the piss out of her looks but it would not have been anywhere near as widespread and vociferous as it is. Add to that the fact that she thinks she’s a stunner and you begin to see why she’s set herself up for lampooning.

Doesnt it seem possible that she did a MISTAKE by going into the BB house... I sure think she did... have you never made a mistake that you regretted doing? I think when you are in the big brother house it is v. hard to repair your mistakes... caus when you chose a way, you get caught in it and cant backtrack.... when adele and Jade started bitching they got caught in that frame of mind and kept on going and going.... unlike in real life they had v. little to distract them, see themselves, realise what they were doing and backtrack... (plus people would have judged them as playing the game, changing tactics....)

so I think we should all remember that they are human being, entitled to mess up. they have not commited any hideous crime...

as far as graham norton goes, I dont watch regularly... I did laugh a bit at the truffle thing, but mainly caus it was a funny way of saying he thought she was a pig, and bicause I dissociated that comment from the human being that Jade was... I think most of us, when laughing at the expense of someone else, forget or put aside the fact that the person we are laughing at has feelings... just in the same way that jade forgot that Sophie had feeling.... what graham is doing to jade is no better than what jade did to sophie... it's not because we cant see yet the hurt this will cause to jade that it makes it ok...

Jade’s been annoying from day one. Not for nothing was she one of two housemates immediately put up for eviction by the public. Ill mannered, boorish, stupid and bitchy with a pathological inability to allow others to speak, she was a clear candidate for "hate" figure from the moment the first show began.

Like it or not, we’re a visually fixated species and Jade’s, ahem, "unusual" appearance coupled with her attitude to others was bound to draw a negative reaction from the public. The vicious bitching she engaged in along with her incredible stupidity only validated people’s first impressions of her.

As to insulting Adele without resorting to racial insults, I could offer you many but the scheming bint is history now so let’s draw a discrete veil over the person who made Nasty Nick look like a saint in comparison.

I have to say I don't know why everyone seems worried that Jade may 'hurt herself' or have a breakdown when she leaves, that girl is as hard as they come! I expect she'll be thrilled that Norton has made such an issue of her - like a naughty child she'll thrive on any attention she can get, good or bad as long as she gets it, especially from her favourite comedian.

I think she'll be able to take all the flak and turn it to her advantage and I hope she does, perhaps she'll make a few quid and get out of that grotty hole she lives in.

Jade has behaved badly. I don't know if she's done it deliberately or if she is as stupid as she pretends.
