Ipod speaker dock - where from?
Wife has made Christmas easy - she wants an Ipod with speaker dock.
I suggested other alternatives but no go so i just need to get best price for one of these (with the Ipod). Any suggestions for a good price ? Online normally means ordering in advance. I have had good service from Dabs but are they the best priced? Thanks very much |

Why not get a standard dock, and connect it to a micro system? Will sound way better for the same money.

that's a good option - just sit the iPod's dock next to your existing stereo and connect it via the line out on the dock.
the bose speaker docks are supposed to sound fantastic, but cost £250+. john lewis stock them, and probably places like dixons. there are probably cheaper, less powerful options, but in that case you'd probably be as well to stick with your existing stereo. Iain |

freddyuk I know you said the misses wanted a ipod dock, she may have reasons for this, but I hvae my ipod connected to my hifi, and it sounds great and cost only £5 for the leads and not the huge amount needed for a speaker dock.
