After hearing Chico singing tonight I think people have underestimated his talent, he can perform, entertain, has charisma and now to top it off he CAN SING!!!

I think he sounded good tonight and I think he can pull this ballad off on Saturday

Chico sounded great. Like many others, I am really looking forward to his performance on Saturday and it's not to ridicule him. People are warming to Chico. It's not only to do with him being entertaining, but he is consistently proving what a lovely guy he is. He treats the contestants and everyone else connected with the X Factor with respect, and he isn't smug or big-headed. He's not expecting to win and he certainly wasn't expecting to have got this far. He's enjoying living his dream and I far prefer him to technically better (but dull) singers, in particular Brenda, Maria and Andy, whom seem so desperate for fame they will pull out all the stops to get it and not care about anyone else's feelings!

I missed the show tonight but I will catch it on Friday. From what people are say Chico (((MEGA-CHICO-TIME))) was very good vocally, and has shown that he can sing a ballad.

I'm also really happy with what I have seen of Chico tonight. It's a big change of direction, but if he can pull it off, and I don't see any reason at this juncture to why he can't, he could really throw the whole voting system into confusion.

What makes the difference, from the clips they showed, is the way he portrays the tune. He doesn't just sing it, he puts emotion and feeling into it, which is what has been lacking in some of the other contestants offerings thus far.

I'm keeping everything crossed that he does well and, please, please, has positive critique from the judges. I shall be really saddened if they put him down for changing his musical style.

One thing I do know, if his vocals are good on the song on Saturday night, it will be worrying for everyone else if he gets back in for another week, because with the personality and humour he has already shown, he really is beginning to look as if he DOES have the X-Factor! :0)

I think Chico is a lovely guy but is no singer. If you listen to Enrique singing Hero you will notice that he puts an affected voice on when he sings key parts of the son to accentuate the emotion of it, I predict Chico will take these affected parts and greatly exaggerate them to disguise his very poor range, I think some people will be fooled into thinking that this means he is singing well.. sorry if this sounds a bit confusing I couldn't think of a simple way to explain what I mean, hopefully you will get the picture when you hear him perform the track.. does anyone know what I mean if so please feel free to make less of a hash of explaining it then I have just done

It won't matter because Enrique sings the chorus in such an exaggerated manner that i think it will sound OK whatever Chico does. Enrique's a rubbish singer anyway and i hate the song so let's see if Chico can save it.....

Enrique is not the best singer but if you think he exaggerates then wait until you hear Chico sing the song, it will be like a characterure of the original..

Chico is more of an all round entertainer then a dedicated singer. He won't win the X Factor but I think he'll do well after and won't fade awaylike a b unch of the other acts most definitely will.

i reckon he would be fantastic singing "chilly down" from labrynth!! its a fab song and im sure he would look great in a pink shirt dancing about the stage!

Might be entertaining though.....i lauugh at the original version (it sucks) so i can't wait to hear this classic....
At least he's not going to murder it.....
