As an Aussie I feel compelled to comment on the DS:BB dialog from Alex.

1) Western Australia is NOT like Essex.

2) Australians can't just "walk in" to the UK, apart from as a tourist. British people DON'T need permission, they just get an electronic visa when they buy a ticket.

3) The Vauxhall equivalent in Oz is Holden, NOT Opel. They're also NOT fitted with 500 BHP engines.

I though Alex was an OK guy until I read this. Now, I'd like to punch his lights out.

He said the Opal was German not Australian. Did you actually hear the conversation or hear it second hand? Don't believe everything you read as fact , the E4 ticker is a perfect example they are forever getting the names wrong.C4 website stated on one of their news reports that Kate was a Surrey girl, Beckenham is in the county of Kent. So don't base your opinions on one posting that happens to be mis- reported.

I thought Beckenham IS in Kent BTW. Point taken though.

I was watching on E4 interactive, and I'm pretty sure Alex
said "West Sydney" was like Essex, not "West Australia".

People from West Sydney are known as "Westies" and they ARE like Essex people. You're right, not the same thing as being a West Aussie.

I wish I was watching BB on E4, instead of on the net.

BTW, from recent conversations it seems that Alex IS a tosser, literally.
