Well, I have a few friends that are Muslims and even though they are supposedly devout, it doesn't stop them doing things that are very westernised and would be frowned upon by elders in their religion.
I admire you if you are young and are keeping strict adherence to your faith, but not everybody can or even wants to.
You must be very fortunate to have a lifestyle and faith that makes you happy to go without sex, alcohol and whatever other things you have to turn away from to be true to your religion.
For others, whether it be Muslim, Bhuddist or Catholic, modern life sometimes means that circumstances can dictate actions that don't fall within someone's given faith.
