Something about Jade sueing them, or maybe her Mother has been saying some things?

Either way its on the front page.
Yeah I know, its the sun.

Oh yeah cause if its on the front page of the Sun it must be true (!)

Not as good as the Star's headline. The Daily Star's front page concerns itself with the news that Big Brother inmates PJ and Kate have 'fallen in lust' and 'cannot wait to bed each other'.

Did I miss something?

In what way did they fix it (i take it the Sun are talking about Fridays eviction vote).

Please consider that most polls showed Adele to go, did C4 fix these to?

All the papers that have BB splashed on the front page are full of shit. Everyone here should all know better, the broadsheets write interesting articles like the one on Jade while making a foir amount of good points.

It could be The Sun that faces legal action if they start throwing allegations like that around. C4 must be rubbing their hands.

This sounds like a topic worthy of my consideration: please pRy, what would be the nature of the action?

Well, if its legal action over the abuse Jade may suffer when she comes out - they cant keep her in there forever!!

Yeah, but if she wins, she doesn't complain.

I'd simply point out that I doubt the independant verifiers (I believe they're an electoral monitoring group) would risk their reputation over such a 'fix'.

That's the article in question... there's also an article on Jade, Jonny and PJ's antics in the pool last night that ended up with Jade bikiniless and Jonny and PJ naked again running to retrieve their shorts.

OK, it's only the Sun, but it does seem to make sense of what happened with the quickfire Jade -> Adele turnround being helped by selective editing. An alien seeing BB for the first time last week could be forgiven for thinking that Jade was caring, sweet, and the still, calm voice of reason -- unless that alien heard Jade babbling like a maniac to Kate late Saturday night.

The BB spokeswoman who denied any jiggery-pokery (well, she would, wouldn't she?) will have her work cut out to stop the public wondering if they're being cynically conned. If the story is true, it makes Adele's manipulating look like Origami for Beginners.

I haven't read the article, but I suppose they meant by the whole compaign to save Jade's face, starting with Jade talking to the psychologist and telling her more than she should have known. Also through manipulating public views by selective editing and most probabely taking the camera away from Jade and pan it mostly at Adele . Add to that the RI:SE and Northen Graham compaign, etc...

Or the bit where the spokewoman said “We always said the housemates would have to do something to bring down the divide, and it was done so the nominations would be completely random.” *LOL* what did they make the HMs do to bring down the divide? Opening the envelop or reading the envelop?! Wow, what a TASK *LOL*

Having read said article it does seem very speculative. If you only ever watched the C4 highlight show and hadn't looked at any of the fan sites, Adele being evicted over Jade would have seemed very strange indeed. When you consider that the Sun had a full page "Vote The Pig Out" campaign last week you can understand why they may have felt a bit miffed.

The truth of the matter is that Jade had quietened down after her chat with Brett, whilst during the same period Adele, by her own admission, had become "bitter." Having not gotten it's way the Sun has merely resorted to claiming there was a fix.

Their main witness for the prosecution was Nasty Nick, the man who in a recent interview on Virgin radio hadn't even noticed that they weren't in the same house he was.

Typical tabloid reporting.

Yes, the article wasn't online when I posted, and I did jump to the wrong conclusion regarding the nature of the "fixing".

Sorry

I dont know whether the allegations are true - but as for abandoning the nominations on purpose, we all know they had the 'message from families' task up their sleeves for a while, seeing as Spencer saw his when he was evicted.

But surely they couldn't have had it up their sleeves for that long if Tims parents were at the party.

Yeah but I am sure that they reserved the 'message from families' reward for a completely different task. Seeing how things went in the past 2 weeks, they decided to change the nature of the task, if you call what happened in Saturday night a "task".

Totally agree with this. The public has always been susceptible to manipulation of their vote. This is due to selective editing on C4. However, C4 have never before been so blatent. BB3 is such a dissapointment on this front compared to BB1 and 2. Graham Norton, RISE ... the whole thing has become an exercise in media manipulation of the masses. Oh how it works...... There was no way they cd let Jade out so they choose Adel. Adel's redeeming feature is that she is a strong intelligent woman and will cope. Yes, lots of people genuinly wd have voted for her over Jade but without the selective editing we wd never have had that result. To top it all we now get this weeks farce of an eviction. it stinks and I for one won't vote. You've ruined BB C4..... A very sad BB fan

Yes I agree with gabber.I reckon in the next couple of weeks the heat will be really taken away from Jade so that by the time she's evicted the general public will have forgotten what all the fuss was about.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Her awful mother looks the type to have "Claims Direct" on the quick dialler, it's like a supplementary benefits system for those sort of people.
