After watching a recorded programme......
Tool2004

.....it would be nice to know that the programme has been watched (or partly watched), so you know for certain (after watching a few recordings) that when deleteing, unviewed recordings are not deleted by mistake.

A bit of a mouthful, but I think you understand what I'm getting at.

If you are reading this Barry, perhaps you could pass this on to Humax.

If more think it a good feature than yes I will include it in my next note to Humax, however would not using the protect feature achieve the same result?.......it would certainly help in not deleting by mistake

Nice idea,

For me it wouldn't work unless you could manually switch the status back to "unviewed" after a partial viewing - I tend to watch the first couple of mins of every recording so I know what it is in order to rename it (I pre-pad so all mine get incorrectly named)

I can see some reasons for this, but, I don't think it is very useful.

I don't find the Recorded list button (3rd from the left under the cover) very useful.
The menu => record => recorded programme feature is more useful, because it has a picture in guide (pig) and you can view the recording or pressing Menu again will take you to a full screen. You can then decide to keep or delete it.

What if there was an icon and your wife/partner/kids/friends watch it would you automatically delete it because it's been marked as being watched?
