Seeing as the sale to Ian is illegal, the pub still belongs to Chrissie.

What I'd like to know is whether or not The Mitchells buy back the Vic, and when?

Why it's like the Marxs Brothers, she couldn't pull a pint to save her life and who would want to go in a pub and see old 'pudden face' behind the jump
Has 'Fill' being sitting too close to the sun-lamp again he is looking a bit scorched

In what way is the sale to Ian illegal?

Unless it's proven that she forged Den's signature in signing over his half of it to her. Remember she already legitimately owned half of it.

It's an illegal sale because she was using the money to escape the country?

Not to mention she forged Den's signature in the first place, making the pub Sharon's.

I don't really want the Mitchells behind the bar. They're kind of annoying. Mind you, at least ol' Peggy's got her family morals in the right place!

Which is more than can be said for TOM KING...

Anyhow, back to Easties....

I'd like Pat behind the bar.

Or Dot!!!!!!

No its legally Sharrons. Because A. Chrissie Forged her signature to get the vic. B. Chrissie is now going to prison thefore looses her next of kin right. After her Dennis is next of Kin because he is blood related to Den. However Den might have left a will. Or Dennis might not want it making Sharron the legal owner.

but...but... but.... Den signed over half of the pub to Chrissie before he had a close encounter with the doorstop.
She only forged the signature to gain the second half.
So it's not entirely Shazzas.
As said in another thread she will probably 'donate' her half as a peace offering. (or something)

That's what I meant - it's Sharons pub, not Chrissies

What more proof is needed apart from the date on the signature will be a date after Den's death. So technically, half still remains to Chrissie and the other half to Sharon or Chrissie depending on whether Den had a will.

I hope half the pub does still belong to chrissie that way she can come back and reclaim it when the mitchells are least suspecting,on peggys birthday perhaps

I think that's exactly what will happen - Chrissie will give her half of the pub to Sharon as a small token of apology.

Legally, the case is a minefield anyway. I can't see Eastie's wanting to spend too much time going into that and would rather move on to the next plot instead.
