I apologise if there's been a similar thread, but I've just started to think about who is going to go and when - all other things being equal (like them getting the right songs from people). So I'm going to stick my neck well and truly out and make some wild predictions about who's going out and when...

Out 12/11: Conways (after a toss up with either Chico or Nicolas)

Out 19/11: Chico (after a toss up with Nicolas)

Out 26/11: Nicolas, after a toss up with Brenda

Out 03/12: Brenda, after a toss up with Andy

Out 10/12: Out Andy, after a toss up with JS

Out 17/12: Out JS (although this might depend on the songs) after a toss up with Shayne

Out 24/12: Maria or Shayne.....???

Well, that's they way I'm seeing it, and at the same time realising that I'm going to be in Prague for the final and might not see it!!!!!!

The judges will not decide who goes through when it gets to the last three stage. In fact I'm not sure if they will when it gets to the last four stage. This is so as not to make it obvious who is getting the most votes at that stage.

We obviously think along the same lines.
12/11 Conways out against Chico

19/11: Chico (at last - people will be fed up with the same style week after week and his novelty factor appeal will be wearing off)

26/11: Nicolas - his moves are wooden and boring - the same every week

03/12: Andy

10/12: Shayne (unless he dramatically improves and pulls a Journey South surprise out of the bag)

17/12: Brenda

24/12: Final - Journey South beaten by Maria

I would love you to be right about the final two, as for some reason I don't want Shayne to win. I think that's because he's so sure he's got it in the bag, and IMH he's no better than several of the acts.

I honestly think it will be a really tough decision between the last five. None of them will be bad.

I think my prediction still remains the same though

No, you're right. In fact he's a lot worse than several of the acts.

Mind you I get the impression Maria also thinks she's got it in the bag and that's one of the things I don't like about her.

I think over the next few weeks it'll be the acts who can show their range of talent - like JS did last week (I didn't like them much at all initially but they really proved themselves on Saturday). If we have weeks and weeks of the same style from each act that will lose them votes - or should do. So Shayne stop the falsetto, Andy - liven it up a bit, Brenda - again more variety. JS - keep doing what you are doing, it gives viewers a pleasant surprise and makes them want to vote cause you've tried somehthing new.
