HOLBY CITY actress, Kelly Adams, has revealed she is leaving HOLBY CITY. In an interview on local news channel 'Look North', she told viewers she was leaving, however not till December 2006.
BBC Publicity have also confirmed the story.
Kelly, joined HOLBY CITY in March 2004 as midwife Mickie Hendrie. She was seen auditioning for her part along with Jaye Jacobs (Donna) in the 'Making it at Holby' documentary.
Fans will be disappointed to see her leave the show. Her storyline highlights included seeing her character develop and get to grips with her sexuality and this year her relationship with Jodie turned sour, after her girlfriend killed colleague Will Curtis.
Of her time on the show, Kelly said 'I will be leaving Holby in 2006 after three years on the show. I have loved every minute of it and have learned absolutely loads but feel it's time to move and take on a new challenge.'
Kelly remained tight-lipped about her exit storyline but says it will be a great final storyline for her.
