Well done EE.

Out of 44 weeks so far this year, this is the THIRD time you've topped the weeks ratings. Corrie have a mere 41 top positions

Hmm. Not sure this should turn into yet another bashing thread but well done to Eastenders for getting great ratings for the Micthell's return.

Well done to Corrie for getting good high consistent ratings as well.

Who cares? they both have done well. I cant understand why you take offence because some users want to congratulate EE on their ratings. Its not a personal attack on you so why the sarcasm?

Well done EastEnders. Corrie always chooses quantity over quality wheras EastEnders doesn't. I think they're so sure they'll top the ratings every week that they're letting standards slip.

EastEnders deserve this, Corrie haven't deserved to top the ratings since Ray's death - Not with such rivetting storylines as the fish escapades.

You missed out the BBC3 rating for EE which were:

1. EASTENDERS Thu 27/10 1.009m
2. EASTENDERS Tue 25/10 0.797m
3. EASTENDERS Fri 28/10 0.764m
4. EASTENDERS Mon 24/10 0.609m

The Thu 27/10 10pm repeat of EE was the third most watched program from the multi-channels.

If you add the BBC1 and BBC3 EE ratings together this is what you get:

1. Eastenders Tues 25/10 14.007m
2. Eastenders Mon 24/10 13.949m
3. Eastenders Thu 27/10 13.009m
3. Coronation Street Mon 24/10 12.64m
4. Eastenders Fri 28/10 12.017m
5. Coronation Street - Mon 24/10 - 11.97m

I don't see how that's fair. Maybe we should get the ITV2 ratings for the Corrie repeat then.

Anyway, well done EastEnders, great ratings, well done Coronation Street for staying quite high. Great ratings for both soaps.

I wasn't being sarcastic (honest) just stating a fact. It's just that when I put the list up I was expecting a flood of threads saying "EE is so good" etc and "Corrie is crap" etc so I wanted to put the record straight.

PLUS someone said on another thread that EE won all 4 places for that week and was gloating like mad so they're now eating humble pie

Digital repeats and ominbuses don't count. They don't on BARB so they don't here. You don't see DS adding BBC1 & BBC3 together do you?

We already know EastEnders is best so why would we make numerous threads about such an obvious fact?

Corrie aint crap, it's just lost it's way.

Do these apreciation threads appear each week on this website? Just wondering? Was it the same when Corrie dominated? This list that was put up it a bit difficult to make comparisons with afteral, no Coro on a Tues, no EE on a wednesday, no Corrie on a Thursday. EE has done well this week, but seeing as they only just top the ratings on Monday with all their most powerful weapons active, I got a horrid feeling that when they go back to the normal week in week out stories and characters, they will be buggered. Hope not though.

Corrie is my favourite soap and love it when it beats Eastenders but Eastenders has been very good in the past few weeks and deserves to be top. I think it will continue to do well for quite some time yet but I wonder what it will be like when Kat, Alfie, Little Mo, Nana, Chrisse, Sam, Sharon and Dennis are all gone....that's one hell of an exodus.
