After his drunken fumble with Lesley the night before, a sheepish Rodney bumps into seething Simon, who threatens the randy rogue with a slow death unless he sets his mother straight on his less-than-lusty feelings towards her.

But with all the fireworks going off in her head, does Lesley get the message? What do you think people!

Meanwhile Sadie’s private detective has dug up enough dirt on Miss Windsor to start a Kelly compost heap!

So when Mrs Connors, the wife of Kelly’s last rich suitor, arrives at The Woolpack baying for blood and screaming to the tree tops about the truth behind her sleazy “catwalk” claims, Jimmy is less than impressed with the scene caused by his new squeeze.

And Jo has had just about all she can take from Toni and Paddy’s flirtations. She owns up to the whole Fireblade fiasco, but is horrified when the vet and his vixen fall about laughing. The joke was her all the time! Oops!

I actually felt a bit sorry for Kelly, I know I know I'll go have a lie down in a minute. Why does Sadie have to win all the time?

Loved the showdown, classic soap pub confrontation, thought Jimmy was gonna pick her up for a split second there, good stuff.

Loving Sadie's pantomine laugh at the end The only problem is it has shades of Charity...will Kelly then get her revenge too?

Felt really sorry for Kelly too. And that just proves what a moron Jimmy is...I mean he's done far worse himself, where has he got room to talk just cause Kelly posed for a few mags and had an affair? Totally unlikeable character, I hope Kelly screws him up big time.

Great ending, and good episode overall.

Loved the slapup at the end! Always great when Emmerdale has two women fighting... this time over a car!
About time Kelly's past caught up with her, but I think this may only be the start of things with Sadie, but who knows... shades of Kelly's fued with Kim in there somewhere, and the "no knickers" line had me bursting. Good to see things developing between Cral and Del, but Leslie and Rodders is just one image I never want to think about again!

Sadie can be really good when the writing is spot on. That was SO Dynasty-like, her evil bitch cackle was fabulous

One thing I don't understand: is Tonicha really a bad person trying to take Paddy to the cleaners or does she actually fancy him? The whole storyline has been a bit confusing, or at least to me.

It made clear they were taking the p*ss out of Jo tonight, and they knew she was fireblade all along. So they aren't really together...as far as I know.

Didn't they say Danny was always a favourite of Tonicha's mum...and Toni was back to visit her and would say "hello" for Danny? If that was the case, how come Danny hasn't seen her himself? lol

Danny didn't seem at ALL surprised when she returned either...

I hate inconsistencies like that...

Any unlikeableness on the part of any of the King boys is solely the fault of their sadistic gnome father, who is so self-centred and evil that he screwed up raising his children after his wife died. Shame on him.

Meh.... I don't feel sorry for Kelly. Not much.

And I HATE Sadie. As usual.

Paddy's storylines are getting ridiculous.

And I am getting too critical. LOL

By that logic, shouldn't Max and Carl have been the LEAST likeable, when in fact it's the other way round

No i think parents mellow and chill, all their worse parenting is done early on, he made Jimmy work for him from sixteen then overlooks him in favour of Matthews mendacious ways.

Tom actually makes me feel ill sometimes.

I like Carl, but he's a bit wet. I say that Tom has affected them all negatively, and IMO he has, they all obviously have, or had in the case of Max, issues, and I think he is almost entirely to blame. But obviously they have personality traits unique to them as well. So it all depends.

I know, I hate her! . But have you noticed that she has commented more than once about her parents not really giving a flying **** about her. Result.... she acts like a total cow the whole time.

Tom was a useless parent to his kids. Result.... when things get tough they start being horrible. A pattern, IMO.

Loved tonights episode. Best soap of the night. Oh and since I didn't comment on yesterdays episode, I feel I should say that both Rodney & Lesley were fabulous.
