I've been lucky enough to go twice - week 2 and 3 - and have spoken to Darren both weeks. I have to say he is much nicer (is that poss) in the flesh, than he even appears on tv. He is lovely and a really genuinely nice guy who is just loving his dancing!!

Ah no! Lilia has worked really hard on their routines & he's turning into quite a mover! He just so obviously loves dancing.

& his bowler hands have certainly disappeared!

I really like Darren and have been so impressed at how well he is performing. I am actually really surprised at how much better James is doing than Darren in the "voting for your fave" thread. I wouldn't have expected that (nothing against James at all but he is not the best of the dancers and he isn't THAT good looking.)
I think it's great to see how much Darren is enjoying the whole thing.

Maybe the poll isn't representative of the wider population as it's the same core people (including me!!) who vote.

Then again, who's to say which couple have the most public support? For celebrities like Darren who are high scorers with the judges, it's hard to know his popularity with the public (i.e. he's unlikely to be in the final two when he's got a score of 8 or 9 with the judges even if he only got a 1 or 2 from the public vote).

Wouldn't it be great to have access to information on the percentage or numbers of public votes each couple gets?
