Based On Song Choices, Who's Out This Week?

So, now we know the song choices for this week, who do you think is most likely to be given the boot?

As much as it pains me to say so, I think the Conways' time may be up. For one, I don't know the song, and I can't see them getting much support after the past couple of weeks.

With Chico singing a ballad, I think he'll get a pass to next week, if only for trying something different.

Nicholas could be in the bottom two again though, as this song has been murdered so many time, and he just isn't that great a singer.

Thoughts?

Agree with you about Nicholas - another c**p song choice by Louis!
Am looking forward to hearing Chico sing Hero - might surprise a few people I think.
Not sure about Maria and Brown Sugar - I don't think it's a good song for her
Brenda should sail through That's what friends are for
Bad choice for JS - Another song that's been done to death.
Andys song, I forget what it's called, should bring him a bit more up tp date, a good choice I think.
Shayne - can't remember what he was going to sing, something by Justin Timberlake?
Conway sisters - again, can't remember.

I think it might be Nicholas and the Conway Sisters in the bottom 2 this week

THe Conway Sisters as I think Nicholas may shock you all this week.. AND I do not see it being Chico.. mostly good song choices as well this week.

The Conways I hope. Don't know the song and they sounded like a group of six year olds singing.

Although Journey South seemed to be struggling with Living On a Prayer and Maria didn't seem confident with Brown Sugar so you never know what might happen on the night.

Chico's song will totally expose his voice, and he won't be able to dance his way out of it; I thought when I saw Xtra Factor that maybe Sharon realised she was overdue to lose an act, and was setting up Chico as a sacrifice. The Conways' song is not very familiar, and didn't sound too good. Nicholas has gone for a "safe" choice but it may just be *too* familiar. But I would have expected one of these three to go next regardless of the song choice. I'd say Chico or the Conways to actually go.

JS were having trouble tonight, but hopefully will sort that out; if they do the song should suit them and appeal to their audience. Maria should be OK; while Brenda is offering business as usual. Andy is doing something about 30 years more recent than usual; this might alienate some of his audience, but probably not that much. Shayne - mixed feelings; I think his fans will probably like it; personally, I would rather not hear him do falsetto on every song - he does not have a good falsetto sound.

Based on 24/7 Chico's going to murder 'Hero' and in doing so is likely to lose the good will he's built up over the past few weeks.

Nicholas will really have to go some to own that song, I'm not sure he has it in him

Sadly I have this awful feeling that the Sisterzzz will bland their way through to the next round.

Chico v Nicholas with Chico out is my prediction.

I think Maria could be struggling this week, she's not happy with the song and she did whinge a lot, looks like they've singled her out for the chop this week. I think Conways could be alongsider her

they haven't singled her out for the chop
it's just the weekly test, all the acts have to endure
it's designed to see how they react to criticism
nicholas sailed through his test last week with flying colours
'i believe i can fly' his song for this week, is quite apt

Lovin' your work thms.

You are a provoking starter.

I think the Conways or Chico should go, whether they do or not is a bit hard to call. By this stage some acts will have quite a following, and unless they do something utterly terrible their fans will still vote for them. It's the floating voters and the fans of the acts that have left that will swing it one way or another.

Some people will even vote for certain acts because they are voting for the mentor. I don't get this btw, as much as I can't stand Louis, I don't hold his acts responsible, likewise as much as I like Simon, wild horses wouldn't get me to vote for the Conways.

Going on past weeks Chico, The Conways and Nicholas have all been in the bottom two so it should be two of those three if things follow form. There is often a big upset in these sort of RTV's though, so nothing would surprise me at this point. Disappoint me yes, but not surprise me.

Yes Kewpee you're right in some ways but Chico is gaining supporters all the time and I will be surprised if he is in the bottom two this week as he can actually sing, as seen in 24/7

I didn't see it tonight, I'll watch on Friday.

I don't dislike Chico, although I did to begin with, I've warmed to him. So far he's got through on sheer nerve and performance. I think the voters want to see him there, he's fun and he almost makes a nonesense of the whole thing, which is amusing. If, as you say, he does find a voice and give a decent rendition, then he may well get enough votes to stay, people who voted for him in the past on his 'fun' element, will feel justified for keeping him and vote again.

Bottom two - Brenda and Nicholas with Nicholas leaving.

I also think Chico may now be saved this week for taking such a risk.

If Maria is in the last 2, would she be voted out other the conways? chico? nicholas? brenda?

Doubtful which is a shame The judges seem to love her for some reason
