I hate to say it, being a massive Journey South fan, but I think that song will kill them. It's been done so often, it isn't a great song in the first place and it's just pigeonholing them. Ageing old rockers may vote for them, and diehard fans like me will forgive them for a weak week, but neutrals may be hugely turned off

Maybe because, like some of us here, they think she actually sings quite well??

Yes I agree she can sing but as I said in my post after that one, I just don't see any emotion from her and don't feel moved by her performances. It's only my opinion, and other people don't like the ones I like.

Chicco - he just isn't good enough for a ballad and can't distract everyone with his dancing/stripping!
The Conways - Not a well enough known song and they just aren't working, always looking and soubding miserable.

BUT it could also be any of:
Nicholas, he's yet to impress me and I don't think this song is a very exciting choice.
Andy - I LOVE his voice but he's better at slower, more emotional stuff, this won't make me all tingly!!
Maria - Really rotten choice of song for her. She's not a rock chick. I suppose they're trying to make her different from Brenda.

I feel very sorry for Andy and Maria and hope I'm wrong, I would not have expected them to be in the bottom two for a while yet!

Still, keeps it interesting though, doesn't it? It depends how they all cope on the night.

Why? It seems borne out by most of the posts on here and by the opinions of most men we seem to know that Maria is a "girl's girl". The type of woman who women think is attractive but men generally don't.

The Conway Sisters have a lovely song and I can't believe that some people on here, including some older than myself, can't remember it or don't know it.

I have been waiting for Nicholas to perform "I Believe I Can Fly". This song has been performed several times on talent shows but only once anywhere near the level of the original when Anton Gordon sang it on "PS:TR". This song is suited to Nicholas' voice as "Hold On" does the Conways and if they don't get nervous I would be very surprised to see either Nicholas or the CS in the bottom two.
