Not just good, it's excellent. Extremely underrated.

Although the way it's gone recently it deserves the axe. Getting rid of the best and longest running characters and replacing them with characters cast on how good looking they are was a very bad move to end the show on.

Their always grouped with Holly Oaks when people refer to them. What is the simmularity apart from the time clash.

I miss CrossRoads. I saw some of the old episodes and all the newest ones and it made me sad to know they ended it. I think it was because the lack of characters from the origional series.

There is a slight similarity now. The new producer is using music in inappropriate places, getting rid of older characters and replacing them with good looking 20 year olds and it's losing the family element.

Before May/June they were completely different and no comparison could be made.

Yes but it's also when five have officially said it's on.

I doubt Family Affairs will end on a Saturday. I think they'll end it on December 30th. I don't think Five have officially announced anything. They just said it'll end in late December I recall.

I heard that Five are buying Neighbours and putting it into the 6.30pm slot, with an omnibus at weekends.

Yeah right, like the BBC would give up Neighbours after 20 years.

I'd find that highly unlikely. Neighbours is actually classed as a british show because the bbc is so heavily involved with it (Same for 5 with H&A as it happens). I don't think they'd let it go, and I really don't think anyone would put it against hollyoaks, splitting the audience.

I'm only saying what I read. (Can't remember the source though) and my initial reaction was that they wouldnt give up the show after so long, so let's hope it isnt true and Neighbours is on BBC for another 20 years. (Or until the ''analogue'' stations shut down and the world goes digital.

I'm gonna be SO sad to see FA end, it's brilliant! I hope that FIVE replace the time-slot with Season 2+ of my beloved Sunset Beach followed by my fav yet again The Bold and the Beautiful. These 2 US Soaps put IVE on the map today & deserve to be promoted. I love both SB & B&B & want to see them both again. PLEASE help us to convince FIVE ain purchasing S2/3 of SuBe & buying the rights to B&B. If you've never seen them, I can assure you that you'll get glued right away, they're both gripping & equally as enticing & entertaining.

They would never put an American soap in a primetime slot, they never bring in the viewers. I'm not surprised either. I've watched one episode and it was awful. Seriously bad. I can understand why they axed it in the US.
