DOPEY butcher Ashley is set to fight for his son Joshua when the child’s real dad returns to Corrie.
Dishy doc Matt Ramsden returns in the spring to get his love-child back.

Ashley Peacock has been bringing up the little boy as his own — even though he knows he is not the natural father.

Matt and Ashley’s ex-wife Maxine shared a one-night stand, only for her to fall pregnant.

But hubby Ashley forgave her and accepted the tot as his own.

Matt (Stephen Beckett) moved away with his missus Charlie after the birth.

But after Maxine’s murder, Ashley and Joshua had to go it alone.

Now Ashley (Steven Arnold) who wed ex-nanny Claire (Julia Haworth), who reveals she is pregnant on Christmas Day.

But a show insider said: “Ashley is in for some real heartbreak.”

According to Ann Montini (Sky website), the role of Matt Ramsden is being re-cast. I don't know if that will work or not
