Hi there,

I recently ported a number onto an Orange PAYG card so that I could port it back out again onto a new contract I recently took out (I couldn't port straight as both contracts were with 3). However, I rang Orange yesterday for the PAC and they said because I have only just ported the number over to them that there may be some block and they can't yet issue it!! Something about some minimum time of 3 months!!

Can anyone shed any light on this PLEASE

Many thanks,

Matt

Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything you can do about it now.

I needed to do the same thing as you (port from 3 to 3), but I checked with easyMobile first that it would be possible to port straight back out again (and in their case, it is [or was at the time, anyway]).

does anyone know how long you need to be on Tesco Mobile before you can port the number to another network?
