Why is the X Factor full of 'pop' acts performing 'pop' songs when our charts are pretty diverse?
If you look at the most sucessful albums of the past year, few have been from acts that are pure pop....

To me, thats what the point of X Factor is to produce manufactured pop. Look at Popstars : the rivals. Who did that churn out? Girls Aloud. Were they successful? Yes and what genre were they? Pop

i agree......but JS arent all that pop, i think they should have let a few of the gothy rocksers, or the il divo types, or even some people with instruments?

X was supposed to be WHAT.. laugh.. pop did Steve look like pop do pop and no he got the CHOP... it is not all about POP IS WILL YOUNG pop HELL no is Jamie Cullum NO.. are Bon Jovi NO.. if you can find anyone that can sell something remotely different you may be onto a winner.. SO HEY CHICO TIME

If you think these shows are about POP think again is what I am saying.. WILL YOUNG the only winner we have out there selling in the millions is far from BLOODY POP.. so if they are lookiing for POP hell we have enough out there failing PHIXX... ONE True Voice.... these shows think they are about POP... which one would you choose as a Pop Star... next Justin.. OH YES Shayne... my music is more diverse... X is for X factor.. is what I was saying nothing to do with the genre of music it is would it SELL.. would ANY of these.... look at them hard.. listen to them.. which have something new.. JS ,maybe.. the rest.. have we not seen it all before.. Andy I love.. he has a voice I would pay to go and see... remember I said VOICE... as that is it for me not HEY hell he is cool, wicked, fit.. I do voices.. the fact some are fit as well is a bonus... the best performer of this show has to go to CHICO.. he can entertain me make me laugh CAN he sing.. well I will judge that this week.. they were saying here they all have to be POP is Jamie C.. more to the point is WILL NO.. do you buy into them BOTH yes oddly.. the show looks so boring now to be honest there are two acts I will be looking forward to.. hell I cannot believe I am typing this... Journey South and CHICO TIME>.. the rest seen it all before sorry and better.

Journey South and Chico are the best acts though,that i agree with...

well we do have the samey kind of acts you can find in any working mans club
