Do you record off of the Five channels? As thats usually the main culprit of multiple recordings of the same episode.

When I fisrt bought my 9200 it worked. It recorded what I told it too. Stopped recording when it should, and responded to the remote control. With the upgrade of firmware to .21 It worked, it recorded series link programs occasionally missing a few moments off the start, but it worked and responded to the remote control.

Now it doesn't respond to remote (well sometimes it does) It misses recordings, It records for hours on end instead of stopping when it should.

My request from Humax is simply MAKE IT WORK

Not sure which version mine is but it was bought in about 2006. The fans are silent so I guess it's an early one. I am on Pontypool transmitter and only picking up from Pontypool. Mine worked fine up until about 2 months before the re-tune last Septemeber, I know some threads here are suggesting that something happened at that re-tune, but mine definitely started to slow down and record runaways before then.
My software version is the .21 downloaded off air.

Sometimes it behaves perfectly but it's just no longer reliable. From being my favourite gadget it has turned into one that is destined for re-cycling when a decent HD Twin tuner PVR comes out.........and quite likely not made by Humax!
