Jade hates bullies?
trouble
08-07-2002
I always knew Jade wasn't the brightest but she has just surpased herself. she said I hate bullies and I stood up for this little kid that was getting picked on. Wasn't she bullying Sophie to a certain extent?

According to this week's tabloids (not the most reliable source, I know, but we shouldn't necessarily discount them) Jade WAS the school bully and was suspended for waging a two year hate campaign against one girl.

Don't forget she told Alex he deserved his bullying (he got picked on at school for being half German).

Of course she is a bully, she is an evil little scumbag!
I know that the Sun isn't the most reliable source of information, but i can believe that Jade was a bully and still is!

Jade has too many personalities, I think it depends which one is active at th time..

On a lighter note, I thought Kate saying "If I had to go with a woman it would be Kylie or Madonna" was funny, made even funnier by PJ's "Can I come?"

So Jade the bully hates bullies? Perhaps she will realise that bullying sucks once she leaves the house and gets bullied in the form of booing and abuse being fired at her.

I think it's an established fact that bullies only bully because of the lack of control or security in their own lives. As Jade was a childhood carer - I'd say she's a classic case.

Jade made up and hugged the girl in question and undertook psychotherapy to help her with the way she deal with people. Thats takes some strength of charactor, especially as Jade was only a young teenager at the time.

I'm not taking anything away from bullying as I'm sure we've all been bullied by someone at sometime. But I think we should have a better understanding of the whole bullying issue as it is much deeper than it seems.

I'm really going to stick my neck out here, hope I don't get my head sliced off.
Emzi, have you ever been on the end of a sustained bullying campaign? (I ask that not because I want to be able to say ner-ne-ner-ne ner-ner(!) but because I am interested.) Do you have children and if so have they ever been bullied? My daughter has been bullied a lot lately, nothing violent, just snidey stuff, whispering behind her back etc It has made her deperately unhappy. Yeah, the bully was made to aplogise, but that doesn't really help.
As for Jade's psychotherapy, she still bullied Sophie and again, I don't feel that so called apology was anything like enough. After all poor Sophie ended up apologising to her! Pretty nifty bit of work by Jade.
I don't expect to change your mind, it would be arrogant of me to try, but please try and think about those who have been badly bullied etc and spare some of your sympathy for them.

Sorry, bit pompous and went on a bit

Jade made up and hugged the girl in question

One 2 second hug after a constant 2 years of bullying hardly atones for her bullying behaviour. She probably only hugged the girl to maker herself look good anyway.

God! If i was on the end of a 2 year bullying campaign would I be content and psychologically unscathed by a quick hug from the bullier - NO WAY I WOULD'NT.

Would it offend anyone if i said that anyone who is part of 2 year bullying campaign should be surmarily tortured for 1month, and then put to death ?
Do we really want types that do this in our society ?

Calrissian : Normally a calm loving flaky libertarian person, but has a thing about people who terrorise others.

This no way makes up for it .Bullying can ruin your life ,i was only thirteen .when it happened to me . I was scared of my life and became a recluse. It got so bad at one stage, that i hid beneath the golf bunkers after leaving school and did,nt return home to after nine ,by then i had enough ,i went straight to the medicine abinet and knocked back sixty pills, luckily for me my brother found me un consicious and alerted my mum who was upstairs at the time,i was then rushed to hospital to have my stomach pumped, i was lucky but at the time i did,nt think iwas because i really wanted to die at the time .That was 22 years ago ,i now am a cnfident ,happy go lucky mum of three.I got over it , but it took some time.
So think before you bully , put yourself in there position.

DeeDee, I am sorry to hear that you went through that (even though I don't know you). Bullies are the scum of the earth. Jade needs help I think in the head department.

I was bullied endlessly at secondary school as it happens - to the point where I was allowed to sit in the staff room at break times. But, luckily, I am also adult enough to gain perspective and understand that it happened for a reason, it wasn't my fault and have forgiven the people in question.

No-one want to be bullied. But no-one wants to be a bully, either.

Surely what people were like at school is not always what they are like now.Years have past and people change.
Jade should be judged by her behaviour now not what it was like at school.
If people believe that she is a bully now, thats fair, but many people have done things that they regret in later life.

My other half has worked far too often with people severely damaged by bullying years later for me to have too much sympathy. So sorry to hear about your awful experiences DeeDee and I'm really glad to hear you got over it. I know also from personal experience how verbal bullying can mess you up for years.

Problem is Chloe, Jade doesn't seem to have changed a great deal or learned from her past experiences has she?
