Firstly will people stop saying Alex is a "backstabber" He may not of told Sophie about the bitching but he certainly did'nt join in, he was the only one who told them they were being unfair to Sophie.

On to Jade, basically i agree 100% by what has been said by PJ. She has bitched about every single of the housemates including Adele and will basically say to people whatever they want her to say. Her apologising to Sophie was a joke, she basically ripped into her and said shes a weak person and said she was only doing it to help her! Yea right jade...

The only reason she is trying to act remotely normal lately is because of what the BB doctor has basically told her to stop being herself. Ontop of all of this she is very annoying and she talks no sense at all.

Quite right and hasn't anyone else noticed that after Jade's so called apology to Sophie that it was Sophie who ended up apologising to JADE!?

When Alex, PJ and Tim were all talking about jade in the bedroom on Sunday night - Alex said "she's coming" or something along those lines. If talking about someone behind their back and not to their face is backstabbing - then I think I have used the correct terminology. Alex is a backstabber. He used to talk about kate/Jonny/jade/pj with Adle constantly and not very pleasantly. This is backstabbing in my book and no better than what jade did. Only Jade did it louder.

No it isnt called back stabbing. Back stabbing is exactly what it means - stabbing in the back - usually verbally - it means to cause pain to someone behind their back. Telling lies about someone such as Sophie can cause a chain reaction to which that person is not entitled to and perhaps didnt deserve.

Simply talking about someone when they are not there is NOT stabbing someone in the back - its called gossiping.

The thing is, Jade doesn't appear to be a rational person who they could discuss these things with in a calm manner. Whenever a housemate has tried to tackle her calmly she'll escalate it into an argument and the tears will inevitably flow. If they want something of a quiet life then behind her back is the only place to vent frustrations. Frustrating it must be too, give her even 1/10 of what she regularly dishes out and she's wailing like a banshee. They're on eggshells, a saint would be bitching about her by now!

Yes Alex told PJ and Tim that Jade was coming into the room? If you class that as backstabbing then yes you have used incorrect terminology.

Of course Alex has spoke to housemates about his views on other housemates but he does'nt insult them. If he acted like he was Jonnys best friend and then went back to Tim and said he thought Jonny was tosser etc, and nominated Jonny then that would be classed as backstabbing

Adele and not jade called Jonny a w*****r. Maybe I've seen too much of an edited version. But Adele was the one always attacking Jonny and not jade. I've never seen jade call Jonny a tosser. I've seen her sitting in Adele's company while she did though.

Alex has called people names - he called jade motormouth - and has made several jokes at her expense. He knows she's an easy target and is influencing nominations just as Adele did. He should receive a strike for his conversation last night with Kate.

Agree. The "uncomfortable" viewing was having to look at the chickens every 5 seconds. You're absolutely right that the censorship should lighten up a bit.

In normal usage backstabbing also implies betrayal of trust - usualy by a friend or someone you have formed an alliance with. Someone you know to be hostile to you cannot really considered to have stabbed you in the back (except literally of course )

Note as well that the doing it behind someones back is not a necessary part of it either - I could backstab you by agreeing to support you in front of others and then when the situation arose dropping you in it.

In the case of the BB house the most likely backstabbing scenario is to try and get someone who considers you a friend nominated. Adele did very little backstabbing - BECAUSE she wasn't anyones friend (and in fariness when she was friends - ie. with Alex she didn't betray him - not that I saw anyway). She did do a lot of pretending she liked people when she didn't - typically called 2 faced behaviour.

She isnt a baby.....shes 21 and perfectly capable of saying "enough".
She clearly wants the attention and does whatever necessary to get it.
