You know the black guy in the nokia bit?

Does anyone else thinks he looks like the guy that auditioned for the x-factor. I can't remember his name, but he had a purple outfit on, his dancing was hilarious, and at the end his heel came off his shoe. He made it through to bootcamp, but I don't think we seen anymore of him.

It's just that the black guy with the phone looks the spit of him.

Advertisements are okay. I like them when they are good. They tend to be of better quality than the programmes because, minute for minute, they have a bigger budget. It's quite an art form to be able to get an important point accross in 15-30 seconds. I love trying to work out exactly what they are trying to say and how they are saying it. Adverts are a highly intense form of communication, and highly creative. Some more so than others. One of my favourites recently was the Motorola V3 Razr advert with the whole place wrapping itself up and disappearing into the girl's phone. I don't yet have a Motorola V3 Razr phone...

There ya go, it's me! I'm the one who's talking forever about adverts! But then again, I talk forever about anything

Must say I haven't noticed a fit bloke. Nothing to compare with Guy Pearce, anyway

the advert i like at the moment is the smirnoff one with the guy and girl in the car...same scene 3 time but each time the bad bits are edited out until finally all he says is i love u

thought that was pretty clever

Haven't seen that one. I have seen one I like for the first time today, but I can't remember what it was so it couldn't have been that good. I should think I'll remember it the next time I see it though.

An advertisement is good if you remember what it was advertising, what you liked about it, or even just got a positive image of the brand name. I quite like the Dr Pepper adverts although I hate the stuff, and I like the Marmite ads too - the one which was a spoof of "The Blob" made me really laugh, although it sickened some people who really don't like marmite. I love it (can you guess?)

I thought the purple suit guy was Andy!! LOL. I really must get some glasses or take it easier on the tequila.

Ooh and back on topic if that other nokia guy worked in my office I'd do violence on him with my hole punch, he REALLY irritates me.

Erm which bit? If you mean the bit about doing violence with my hole punch, of course I was joking...do you have any idea how much a decent hole punch costs these days? I wouldn't dream of risking damaging mine.

I was talking about mistaking Andy for the guy in purple

LOL. Yes I'm embarrassed to admit I thought the purple suit guy was Andy, in my own defence my memory of him is abit hazy and the tequila bit is true, I had a friend round watching that audition show and she'd just got back from Mexico.
