First of all Eastenders started before 8pm, and finished about 8.35pm, but according to the guide (including the EPGs on our PVRs), it was a regular 8-8.30 thirty minute episode. <sigh>

Also, does anybody know the names of the actors who played William and Victoria Moon? Obviously, I don't have credits to consult.

(Incidentally, the BBC EE website surprises for not crediting these actors.)

I think young Victoria was played by Kate Colgrave Pope - I squinted at the end credits, and hopefully managed to remember her name correctly, but unfortunately not that of the actor playing William. She doesn't appear to be on imdb yet, but if I did get her name right, a quick google shows that she appears to have very recently graduated from Drama Centre London, so this may be her first appearance. And very good she was too, imho. I'll see if I can deduce the name of the actor playing William from the Sunday omnibus.

It is incredibly frustrating when there are no full castlists available online on the BBC site - and the Radio Times has settled down to showing abbreviated castlists of regulars for EE and CS, giving no leeway for any other actors. Are we supposed to tape the soaps in order to freeze-frame the cast lists? At least RT still gives proper listings for The Bill, which is something!

His name is "Dickon Tolson". Sounds painful. After a quick google, it appears he's done a few arty films, an episode of Doctor Who, and is struggling to get recognized by iMDB. (There's several ballots going on.)

They both struck me as interesting actors. I thought he might be related to Scott Maslen (DS Hunter in The Bill) but apparently not.

Very annoying indeed. I think the BBC should make more of an effort to credit actors passing through like this. Sometimes they're quite good, and worth the tremendous effort that involves typing their names onto a webpage. I probably shouldn't be surprised, given that actors like Alfie Moon aren't even in that database linked to the Eastenders front page.
