And to be utterly shallow for a moment, he certainly has the behind for it - as he suggested on ITT tonight.

The close up shot of Anton's bottom on SCD was fairly gratuitous, and I'm ashamed to say that I enjoyed it

Do you think anyone will start a thread on marks out of ten for Anton's lycra clad bum?

I'm wondering why if Anton hated the samba so much they didn't choose the waltz? He moaned about it all the time which isn't very helpful to Patsy.

Well they had to do it eventually so I guess he decided to get it out of the way as early as possible when there's less chance of them going out with a poor performance.

I thought it wasn't the dancers who decided what they dance, but the producers? Or that it's somehow decided randomly? I'm sure I've heard various people in this and the last series talking about "the draw" or being "drawn" a particular dance.
Anyway, I don't know why Anton was moaning: He must've realised he'd have to do the samba at some point, if he and Patsy stayed in the competition long enough. Besides, he managed to produce a samba with Lesley in series 1. |

Yes, I don't recall Anton making as much fuss dancing the samba with Lesley in the first series. They seemed to have much more fun. Maybe it's because he got on better with Lesley than he does with Patsy. |

I was waiting for that episode all week...
I just think that they should have done the Viennese Waltz. After all, Anton is a ballroom specialist, so it makes a lot of sense. |

I have a very simple answer to this: Anton looks far more attractive in a shirt and tie. |

Anton's normally so upbeat! He's such a darling. But his negative attitude this week definitely contributed to his and Patsy's poor performance. I know he's the master at ballroom, but he's actually quite a sexy mover. Had he and Patsy really got into the spirit of the Samba and CHOSEN A MORE APPROPRIATE TUNE, they would have ended up in the top three. Like Len, I was really looking forward to it but they were, sadly, disappointing... Roll on the next few weeks, when I hope they'll do really well. So far, their Tango was the best - truly inspired!! I know Patsy's not the favourite girl to win, but I'd love to see her really "give it some welly" and reach the semi-final at least...

Apparently they'll be doing the quickstep next week, which looks set to be good.

So whats happening next week are they doing the dances they haven't danced yet. Was disappointed with their Samba. It did look very awkward. It made Anton look like an Amature, like he didn't have a clue what he was doing. Not impressed. Colin was better!

But if you saw Patsy in training on ITT, he did seem to be working with a plank of wood for a partner.

Does anyone else think that Patsy and Anton don't really like each other? I feel as if Anton has lost all his sparkle
. Please. please Patsy keep the gob shut and let Anton speak for a change. |

I think there were signs that it isn't all hunkydory between them on Saturday - their relationship certainly seemed strained and Anton was quite subdued.
It could have been down to the fact that they simply weren't all that good, but I would be very surprised if there weren't some problems there. Latin is quite patently not something that Patsy can cope with, and Anton is a ballroom specialist so I could be reading more into this than there is, but I don't think there can be this much smoke without fire. It's such a shame, though. Pasty was really excellent two weeks ago, and Anton deserves to do well after missing out on the final in series 1, but based on what was going on on Saturday I can't see them getting much further in the competion. |
