Does the Xtra factor enhance your enjoyment?

I'm always interested to read other people's opinions on the contestants and all the behind the scenes comments.

I don't get ITV2 so I've never seen the Xtra factor, I don't read the kind of newspapers that feature "exclusives" on x-factor matters, my only contact with the X-factor is the tv show on Saturday night and what I read on this forum

I don't have a clue about personalities really and so base my thoughts purely on performance.

But my question after that laborious introduction is .... do you feel the Extra Factor enhances your viewing or is it a take it or leave it kind of show?

I'm hoping to get a digi box soon so i will be able to catch up on the "extra" type programmes, so maybe I'll be able to make my own mind up .... especially if no-one replies to my first ever thread!!!! lol! (oh dear that sounded a bit "needy" didn't it!)

I watch the Extra Factor and i think it's a must for all fans!! You get to learn a bit about the characters of the contestants and they also interview the judges after each weeks show. Sure, there is also a lot of filler on there but for a die hard fan, you can't beat it!
The best program is Wednesdays because we find out the song choices for the coming Saturday and we get to see rehersals!

Forgot to point out that if you are not really interested in anything other than the contestants singing, it probably wouldn't enhance your viewing much....

well to be honest their singing is one of the things that interests me the least!!! ... especially as none of them have that elusive X-factor. Journey South are the nearest thing to having the potential to be original ...and I don't have much faith that they will fulfil that potential!

i like to see the judges getting riled and to mock the contestants! (oh my gosh i sound like a right cow don't I!!!)

I'm a right cow too it would appear Nugget. LOL. The performances are less than 1% of the reason I watch. None of the acts is my cup of tea musically (in fact I am endangering my hard woman of rock/metal credentials by admitting to having even heard of the X Factor let alone watching it) that said I can recognise and give credit where it's due for genuine talent or skill in any genre I don't particularly like but frankly this particular bunch is noteable only for their mediocrity in the talent stakes.

Oh i don't care much about the singing! I vote for all of Sharon's acts because i adore Sharon so i want her to win (and i want to see her reaction if she does win! Hehehe!) I love the judge bickering and it still goes on on ITV2! But yeah all The xtra Factor programmes are good, but there is a lot of pointless stuff going on in them!
