Not enough time for the showdance - they have a live broadcast from the Royal Albert Hall to go to right after this.

I think the Festival of Remembrance is taking up a lot of airtime this week.
What a results show! I was so tense. I really thought that Will or Patsy might go, and I would have been so gutted. In the end it was the right result. Dennis has been a star, but his abilities aren't up to the standard of the others. It's going to get worse every week now, because people I like are going to start going. I'd be happy for Bill, James and Darren to go out in that order, but somehow I can't see it happening. |

Sad to see good old Dennis leave! Not surprised though.
All I want now is a private final, just for ME!, involving Goughie, James and Bill But back to reality, although Zoe is the judges' favourite, I'm not too sure she is loved enough by the voting public to win....... Think I might check out the odds on Goughie to win

My Mum thought that too. I think Colin was the better dancer but I thuoght Zoe & Ian looked better together as a couple. I'm so thrilled that Bill & Karen got through and that they entertained once more. I know Bill isn't the greatest dancer but he is so funny and so determined. I just loved the ened of their routine. AND the fact they managed to improvise and pull it off when things went wrong just shows the entertainers they are. Seeing Lesley Garret in the audience tonight really made me think that Bill reminds me of her dedication. Dennis did too when he said it was the greatest experience of his life. I just fill up. I think it's wonderful that people love dancing like that. Excuse me while I get another tissue

The best bit of the show, was when Tess gave Patsy number out and Patsy goes "Its my Birthday"
And then when she got her results from the Judges, Patsy started singing "the only way is up"

The show was a bit disappointing tonight as everyone looked a bit jaded and the results show was soooo rushed.
It was funny when Izabela was saying how hard Dennis had tried considering his age and Tess suddenly went "He's not that old!" But their ages difference is over 30 years so no wonder Izabela said that. They were a sweet couple, even if Dennis wasn't very good. |

I guess next week they will be doing some of the new dances. Argentine Tango/Salsa/Jitterbug.
Though maybe they will do a dance they haven't done yet in the series i.e Men do Waltz, Girls do Cha Ca. |

Going to Dissent!!!!
Oh my what a downer you are all on tonight. I really enjoyed the show and thought Bill and Karen were great and that Bill was very brave to go on despite his pain.
Arent we getting as bad as the judges and the press if we are this negative about the programme? Maybe it wasnt as good as some but it was still great entertainment. Anton did ok considering he's not really a latin man, you could see it was moves he wasnt used to, and as for the purple trousers was he poured into them I knew we could rely on Ian for flashing that lovely chest, just as well since all the other men were firmly covered up!! He and Zoe looked good together and he seems to have livened up too. He is my fave so no being down on him. |

I thought James & Camilla were brilliant. I loved them tonight, they're really sweet. Darren & Lilia are great too. I'm so glad Will didn't leave tonight. I really like him and Hanna. Bless them during the judges comments and results, Hanna looked like she was going to cry. Tonight was a little bit weird. Perhaps because the V Waltz we're used to seeing as a group dance. And I kinda liked everyone doing the samba so we could relaly compare. Perhaps because of all the weird stuff that's happened this week. Or maybe it was the rushed results show. I didn't like not seeing the pros do their thing!!! I feel deprived! Hope Patsy & Anton leave next week. |

Poor old Dennis, I was sad to see him go but it was time. Izabela has been an understated true professional throughout the series and was always genuinely proud of Dennis.
Patsy was completely, unnecessary hyped up backstage following her dance this week and last week. Although the "am I bothered" routine was as funny as her samba. |

Really like last nights show, although I was disappointed we didn't get a show dance, I'd have far prefered it to the guest singers if they had to drop one because of time restraints. I think the right decision was made and Dennis had to go, although I've loved him on the show. As to next week, Will's so erratic (although very harshly marked this week), that he's probably in danger again unless he gets a big score, after that..... who knows, I think it'll be a shocker every week, unlike last year when you did know who was going every week, until the semi when Aled went before Julian (and yes, it still annoys me

Cor blimey. There's alot of downers on a few people on this thread tonight! What happened to us all...we used to be such a positive, happy lot on here!
![]() I think they all do well considering that they are not dancers and only have a week to do it, and whilst I agree that Erin and Anton may not be natural latin dancers....not all dancers are good at every dance, and some of the latin dancers aren't as good at ballroom, but that hasn't been pointed out! I think Colin was the best, do think they over marked Zoe again, but it is the public who ultimately decide so we will see. Darren and James and Will and Bill all did very well to me, considering who they are. And I am amazed that none of them threw up as I would have thought the Vienesse waltz was one of the hardest. I enjoyed both Patsy and Dennis dancing. I guess, like Tally, I don't dance, so I just enjoy watching them, can see who is better or who isn't, but ultimately remember I am not Arlene, and I am voting on who entertains me, tries hard and improves. There is no one left I do not like, and no one I would moan at as I bloody couldn't do it....so cut some peeps some slack...they are all really trying their best. ![]() *puts chill out vibes into the SCD forum* |

I thought last night's show was great, especially liked Bill and James.
Glad Dennis went though, performance reminded me of a gold digging younger wife hoping to induce her rich elderly husband into a heart attack............sorry

You're joking right? They're showbiz types, just geting overexcited. Anyway, if they had had a drink or otherwise for Dutch courage would it matter? This is just a TV show. I think it was the right time for Dennis to go. Zoe and Ian remain my favourites, they've got an extra 'thing' that the other couples just don't seem to possess. I expected to like Colin the best but Zoe's edged it for me so far. I like Colin too and James and Darren are always good to watch. I don't like Patsy. I don't know if she whinges as much as she appears to from what they show of the rehearsals but she seems to need constant babying. I feel sorry for Anton - I also think he was looking a bit fed up last night but maybe that's because he doesn't like the dance. |

You see your favourite(s) saying how much they want to stay in and think "Oh just one more vote".
