What better way to be a teacher than with some forged certificates? So much for being good. He soon got worse though …
Free Deirdre ~ Coronation Street
The nation stopped when Deirdre Hunt was set to jail for comminting fraud. Only thing was, it was Jon Lindsay - a rogue “pilot” - who set her up. Eventually Deirdre was freed - much to the relief of the UK and even Tony Blair!
Karen/Tracey/Steve (baby/wedding) ~ Coronation Street
Tracey drugged Roy and convinced him he’d slept with her but it was actually her one night stand with Steve that got her pregnant. She duped the Croppers into believing it was his baby but relieved the truth to a shocked Steve at Christmas. However it all came out in spectacular fashion when Tracey “let slip” Amy’s real father at Karen and Steve’s wedding. Oviously Karen wasn’t best pleased and threatened Tracey with her shoe before eventually marrying Steve. Phew.
Ethel’s Death ~ Eastenders
Ethel returned to the Square and creating a dilemma for bible basher Dot. She wanted Dot to aid her in her suicide. An emotional farewell between this two ebentually led to Ethel slipping away.
Michelle’s baby’s father? ~ Eastenders
Michelle Fowler became pregnant with Vicki in 1985 when she was just sixteen years old. She chose not to have an abortion and refused to name the baby's father. Vicki was born in 1986, secretly the daughter of Den Watts.
Charity framed for murder ~ Emmerdale
Chris found out about Charity’s liaison with Cain and decided to teach her the ultimate lesson. He knew he was going to die from cancer but spiked his on drink to frame Charity for murder.
Andy/Robert feud ~ Emmerdale
Robert never forgave Andy for torching his mum but then Rob stole Andy’s wife! There was this huge fight in the barn and then recently climaxed with the tragic car crash. R.I.P. Max.
Paedophile ~ Family Affairs
Chloe Costello was sexually abused by a family friend. The storyline, backed by the NSPCC, aimed to destroy some unhelpful stereotypes about what we expect a paedophile to be like.
Mandy running away from her Dad ~ Hollyoaks
Mandy suffered both physical and sexual abuse at the hands of her father and eventually ran away to London. After a suicide attempt she admitted everything to Lewis who persuaded her to tell the police. She did and her dad was sent down for 7 years.
Sarah's reign of terror ~ Home and Away
Sarah was basically a psycho. She had Zoe falling in love with her but met her maker in a dramatic shoot out. Tick, tock, tick …
Paul Robinson Returns ~ Neighbours
After 12 years Paul Robinson set foot again in Ramsay Street much to the delight of the viewers. He soon made enemies in the Street though …
Operation Insemination ~ Sunset Beach
Shocking! I say shocking! This is where Virginia impregnated Vanessa with a Turkey baster.
